This device is so hard and confusing, I think mine has to be damage or something. Plus don't put your hopes on the instructions, they are as confusing as the controller itself. I'm calling Amazon to returned it and getting a better one. The company that create this one don't have phone or online support.

Cost Effective CMX Controller
Other than my education, this unit works great. There are a ton of features for the price.

Ok, for the price, 1 of the 8 encoders does not work all of the time.

What is it with this company and power cords?
They sent the wrong power cord. And I mean, clearly the wrong power cord... one that was neither the right shape nor size, and didn't have a transformer brick. Luckily I had a power cord from a completely different device (old broken electronics) that fit, and met the proper power specs.Other than that, this board is exactly what I expected. A cheap DMX board capable of plugging into my dimmer switches and running my chase lights and PAR cans. It's definitely cheap, and the build quality isn't the highest. But it mounted right into my mobile DJ rack, and does what I want it to.

Works well.....
Controls our lights and changes color as needed. The sliders are a little touchy but you can get used to them.
