Cap Water Tank Filler using Gardena type Fitting

A good fit for our 2023 Bürstner motorhome. Enables you to fit the hose to the van and fill up hands free. More hygienic and less messy than using a normal hose nozzle.

Thought we could leave this attached to the Motorhome permanently, but sadly the flap won’t close - even with the black filling part removed.Nevertheless, we attach this when camped on sites and it’s easy then to attach a water hose (using a simple push fit Hozelock attachment, to refill our water tank.Saves us using a watering can or having to hold the hosepipe in situ whilst we refill with water.

This fitted perfectly on my Hobby Siesta and was great for filling the water tank without leaking.

Makes a huge difference in filling freshwater into the motorhome. It was a tight fit because of the tie to the locking cap dangling. Bought in conjunction with 7.5m proper water pipe. Make sure you have a number of alternative connectors to the site pipe, they vary. You have to carefully monitor the tank level so as not to overfill, which can cause internal wetting if overflow doesn't work.

I thought once the tank was full, it would automatically close a valve thanks to the over pressure device. It has no seal against my motorhome water inlet and I'm disappointed. Water goes everywhere when the tank is full. It seem to need a separate rubber washer..

Purchased for our Burstner. More hygienic that feeding a hose into the water filler and removes the need to hold in place

After being initially concerned about compatibility I went ahead and ordered one for my my Pilote 626D 2021 motorhome. A perfect fit!

This will allow you to fill the tank, but there is no rubber seal around the edge, so if the pressure is too high, water goes everywhere. Maybe this is to allow air in? Either way, not great.
