I love this brush! Medium size is kind of small, but I prefer to work with a smaller brush as opposed to a huge wire pinned one. The really big ones seem a little brutal for thin coated maltipoos or yorkies so this is perfect. Its solid and does a really nice job. I would order again, I wish brushes weren’t so expensive though

As others have said, it's not a gentle brush, but it's how you use it. I have a long hair cat with a lot of undercoat and she LOVES when it pulls out, gets all crazy and wants more, so it works well on her pantaloons and around her mid-section where it gets heavy. My other short hair hates to be brushed in general so the only time I can do it is when she is eating. I have to go slow and easy because she is sensitive to touch but it works to also get her undercoat on her back. It's all about the touch and you definitely cannot be hard handed if they are sensitive. Aside from this, it works great. I replaced a 20 yr old brush of the same style and this one was a good choice.

Brush is good but dang. When I opened the package I was taken back on how small the brush was. I used it to use on my beaux fur blanket for my pup and boy your better be in shape lol. Your wrist will tire because it takes forever to brush out to fluff the blanket. It works. Just takes awhile to use.

Well made, effective, easy to clean, and fits perfect in my hand. My cat loves it too!

Great for longer coated dogs like my Shelties. Small enough to be easy to use. Well made.

Thought it was bigger

We have made it into a part of the routine with our beloved Brits.... no more messy clumps of awfulness that need the scissors taken to them, no matter how hard we try to keep them clean and brushed. (How do they hide those knots so well! It's like the miraculous and never found secret hiding places in their mouths!) It is not TOO harsh nor painful for them in any way. So grateful we got this!

Overall it’s meh, too many metal pieces have bent in the span of like 2 months. I bought this one because my old brush had bent metal pieces, and to buy a new one and it happen so much faster is disappointing.
