Q: Is there a song book or guide

No book or guide AND the flute is pretty then pretty lousy when you try to play it. Yes, the carving is nice but no music is lousy. Cheers!

Q: Can anyone please tell me the key and scale it plays in?

im not sure if mine was just defective but it was not in any key. and there is no chance of playing a scale, let alone a single note. DO NOT BUY if your looking for a musical flute.. purely decorative
