Nearing 10,000 highly-satisfied customers!
First, let me explain my need for knee support. I twisted my knee while carrying an 80 lb. carton of porcelain floor tiles. Ligaments stretched more than normal. This resulted in mild pain and popping of the knee. I am 71 and climb and cut trees professionally. I can't afford to take any chances with an unstable knee while standing on branches sixty feet off the ground and running a chainsaw. Not a good idea at all. The injury is temporary - it will heal itself after several weeks - but I don't want to take a chance of prolonging the healing process. I decided that a brace of some sort would be a good idea. Having no experience with any sort of knee support devices, I went online and did my research. I almost bought a compression knee sleeve by RiptGear, priced at $19.99. It is rated "Best" with a 4.6 star rating by ConsumerReporting. I was momentarily fooled into thinking this was the well-known and highly respected independent Consumer Reports. It is not. The 4.6-star rating is the result of 238 (as of this writing) customer reviews. Reading many of the reviews, it seemed to be an ideal product for my injury. But I decided to look a little further. A little more research brought me to your product, the UFlex Athletics Knee Compression Sleeve. The description sounded comparable to the other product, the price is $14.99 instead of $19.99, and the rating is, as of this writing, almost identical - just a hair better - at 4.7 stars. The BIG DIFFERENCE, in my opinion, is that the other product earned it's 4.6-star rating with 238 customer reviews while your product earned its 4.7-star rating with a whopping 9785 customer reviews!!! Very impressive, to say the least, and very convincing. It doesn't indicate that one product is necessarily better than the other. However, it certainly does indicate that nearly 10,000 customers have been highly satisfied with your product. That is what sold me. I ordered it and it arrived the following day. I wasn't expecting miracles. However, from the moment I put it on, my knee felt much more comfortable. Pain is almost entirely relieved and there is no more popping of the joint when I walk. I'm not ready to test the knee in trees yet, with or without the sleeve, but normal movement and walking present no problem. I must say that I am equally impressed with your follow-up care and concern for your customers - wanting to be assured that everything is all right and expressing every willingness to do whatever is necessary to make your customer happy and satisfied. In my case, nothing further is needed. Thank you!If I might make one suggestion, it would be that the instruction to measure the knee 4" above the knee cap (in order to determine the appropriate size sleeve) is too easy to miss. I would make that instruction more prominent. In my case, it didn't make a difference.

Well-made but size up
Although this seems to be a very well-made support, there was an issue. I measured 16.5" @ 4" above my knee (which was the lower level of the M), so I got size M; however, the fit was extremely tight above the knee, felt like it was cutting off my circulation. I've already cut out the tags and worn them, so I'll not be returning, but I'm not sure that I'll be wearing these again.

Great price
Good tight sleeve for my workout. Furstenberg I've was a little tight so I bought a second one in medium.

Size carefully, then keep your packaging - great company!
My original review, from when I bought the Large: I purchased this after measuring per the instructions and reading the top reviews and questions. My experience was decidedly "meh" with the product. Does it compress? Technically, kind of. It looks better than some other knee sleeves I've tried, but the level of compression isn't up to the same standard as what I got from the Nordic sleeve of my wife's that I borrowed. With my history of knee issues, anything that doesn't offer really firm support doesn't make the cut. I probably should have gone with one size down, and if I still had the packaging I would initiate a return to see if the next smaller size would have worked for me. Clearly, these have worked for a lot of people. I'm just not one of them.My updated review: If you take a look at the responses to this, you'll see that after I posted, I got a response very quickly from the company. They not only refunded my money, they sent me the next size down at no charge to see if it was a better fit (both to my knee and to my needs!). As such, I've updated my review. I'll provide more detail on the four-star review below. The good: The medium fits really well, and is as tight as I need it to be. I suspect there is just enough natural variation in leg shape/proportion that even when you measure correctly, sometimes a knee sleeve won't fit right. I strongly advice purchasers to not do what I did and pitch the packaging immediately, since this is a company that clearly stands behind their product! At any rate, the Medium was an excellent fit, and did a nice job stabilizing my (increasingly old and creaky!) knee. Why not 5 stars, then? If I were rating solely on customer service, I'd probably be willing to give six stars. I am ridiculously impressed with this companhy. The four-star rating is solely because this is a slightly thinner sleeve than some others, so even though it compresses nicely, it doesn't have the same "heft" to it as some of the other sleeves I've tried. I will definitely use this when I'm doing something that requires a lot of varied movement (mud runs come to mind, and some obstacle work), but for daily lifting and a lot of bodyweight exercising where I'm doing things like 30-40 squats in a row, I just feel a little more secure with one of the thicker sleeves. This one definitely goes into my gym bag, though, since there are times I'll want the combination of lighter weight plus tight compression, and I'll 100% be looking at other products from this company going forward.
