Looks great, fun to build, KEEPS TIME
The media could not be loaded. What i needed that WAS NOT in the box:Exacto/craft knifeSand/weight (approx 2.5-3lbs/1.2 kg, I used cat litter and a handful of craft stones weighed out)2 nails to hang it, and 2 meters/79 inches of vertical wallspace from the top of the clock to the floor at a minimum.I also used about a crayons-worth of paraffin wax in addition to what was provided; I would highly suggest you do so as well since it's essentially the 'grease' that keeps the clock working. The amount included is probably a little shy of the bare minimum needed. As far as kits go- it's hard to ask for better. The English translation on the instructions was well done and I never had an issue following along. The graphics/instructions make sense, the parts are well numbered and are marked to ensure correct orientation with a high level of confidence (Not alot of "...am I doing this right?" moments). All the laser cut wood pieces are fastened together by press fitting toothpicks, which get a tricky- I broke PLENTY of their included toothpicks during assembly. They definitely anticipated that and at the end I still had a whole bunch left over toothpicks. I never felt like i was going to run out, and i never had to do more than "press" the toothpick into the hole- they were aligned correctly and precisely cut. For the record i also used a very small wood clamp to help me press the pieces together, but that was more of an ameniy than a necessity. Breaking toothpicks became more just 'part of the process' than anything hahaExtra pieces are included of some of the more delicate/critical pieces, which is another nice touch that shows the consideration that went into the kit.Very high gift-ability, appropriate for really anyone you can trust with an exacto 😀It's a really calming and proud feeling to hang it on the wall, start it up and watch it work. Just gravity and gears ticking away. 10/10 loved this

Amazing Clock!
The media could not be loaded. This clock is amazing! It was a lot of fun to build and didn't run into any issues. Based off of reading other people's reviews I think I got lucky with my clock, it ran really good on my first try and it's scary accurate at keeping time without me having to make any adjustments. Just make sure to take the time to sand and wax the gears and bearings properly when your putting this clock together. Overall it was a really fun project and it makes an excellent wall clock that's a bit more unique than your usual wall clocks.

Have to be very careful in assembling this clock. Careful sanding and waxing gears
The wood is high quality and nicely laser cut so the parts come out easily. Don't expect too many detailed instructions because of so many languages, as it would cost more for it. The photos are large and well done. The illustrations are really great. All you have to do is follow the diagrams and there is a 3 hr15 min video that shows how to assemble, sand, and wax the parts. Very critical is doing this. You must follow the protocol in assembly and there are a few detailed instructions with an! (exclamation mark) which must be followed. You need patience and I found that assembly does take time. The last part with the pendulum is especially critical as the exact weight of sand that is put in it must be observed. There is not too much room for error. The kit is rather costly, and according to the instructions, will work, and once wound up, it will function for 12 hours. I haven't got it working yet, but with perseverance, I will get it to work. Customer service is outstanding and very responsive in Facebook messaging and email. I needed to edit this review because as I have stated, the clock at this time is not functioning. Here was a situation that I did not anticipate. I mounted the clock on the wall and tried winding the string. For some reason, it jammed and the string was entangled. I knew I had my work cut out for me. I was able to easily cut all the string out and after a few hours of work, disassembling the frame but not the gears, I was able to reach into that tiny hole on the pulley and managed to tie a new string on it. I had to take all the clock numbers off so I could position the clock to reach the hole on the pulley. Not doing so, the numbers and brackets will fall off. There were others here mentioning why isn't there some troubleshooting methods. I agree with that. Not all the time, will you have a clock functioning, the first time? This is the reason why I have downgraded my review a little bit. Once, I get them up and running, I will post a video. Sorry, Woodtricks, I would rather give it a 5-star rating but you never know what you might run into. So, at this time, I will break away, finish the clock, and hopefully, will function. More editing to be done, afterward.

Great project - tricky assembly! =)
First off: this is an awesome project! I read these reviews & some say « too many toothpicks, » « too many tools required, » which really this project have no need for extra anything with the exception of 2pounds of pebble or sand to fill the pendulum. If you need extra tools, well, it’s probably just to make the process easier for you. This can be done without any tools.Overall: I’m happy with it! 5 out of 5.Time: keeping time is a little complicated. It’s not the best at it keeping it accurate. 3 out of 5.Instructions: the English instructions are somewhat vague, but I got away with it as I read French too (French has better instructions). 5 out of 5.

Sensacional producto....
