Daylight Wafer 1 Light Box, 9 x 12-Inch

This is a great lightbox. The brightness is adjustable, and it is light and thin - easily fits into a bag for transport. Very happy with it.

I had to decide between the three different sizes of the Daylight Wafer Light Box and finally went with the smallest size. This is big enough for all the project I anticipate and I'm glad I went with the smaller size. I works great and makes tracing easy.

I can't believe I spent $100 on this thing when there are competitors with better products for less than half of that. It's almost a good product - when the light is on it's definitely helpful for getting a basic sketch of something I'm going to paint on paper. But, it's missing a feature to lock the light on or off. And it has a hair trigger. You just breathe on the power button, or look in its general direction, and it toggles on/off. Really frustrating and ruins the experience of an otherwise decent product.

I ordered the light box on a Friday and it would not turn on. On Saturday I returned and requested a replacement. Replacement arrived Sunday....I was amazed with the speed of this transaction and the new Wafer 1 light box works perfectly. Nice size for travel , ultra light weight, keeping it next to my sewing machine for viewing fabric placement with foundation piecing projects......xo

This light box has been perfect for helping me layout appliqué pieces for quilt blocks. The light is bright enough to go through the design piece of paper, the pressing sheet, the block background, as well as a couple of layers of appliqué pieces all at once. I love it!

I'm really happy with this light box, my only real complaint is that the light tends to turn on or off or change brightness while I'm using it since the switch and dimmers are on the face and are touch controlled... so it is not unusual for it to turn off while I'm drawing on it or to have to constantly reset the light level because my hand or arm has accidentally touched the controls. Perhaps it's too thin, but this would be perfect if the controls were on the edge instead of the front. Otherwise, the size and light quality (including light evenness) are really nice!
