Not plastic!
My 2 and 5 year old grandkids thought this was fantastic. I liked that they had to make it to understand the mechanics of why a periscope works. Being able to decorate it themselves was a lovely bonus.

Creative and Educative
Bought four different STEM toys from this company. Each of them have been amazing. The quality of product is good. Our kids were excited about learning while playing. Strongly recommended.

Overall very good. Mirror is a joke.
This periscope kit is very well designed with good materials and the flexibility to change the height of the device. The instructions are ok as well. However, the part that is supposed to be the mirror is like a laminated paper so it doesn't reflect light or show anything. I had to buy mirrors from Michaels, cut them to the appropriate size and glue them.

Creative design, bad execution / quality
A nice design let down by poor production execution. The so called ‘mirrors’ on this are completely useless and reflect nothing. They are just pieces of barely reflective metal. I had to take a part a vanity mirror set and use the mirrors on those to make this usable for my 6yo who was so disappointed when he initially tired to use it. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves for the shoddy material
