1 Flexible Translucent PE Plastic Sheet 48x24x1/30 (0.03) DIY Stencil Pattern

What do I mean by Utility shades? I mean don't expect it to make a beautiful lampshade unless you have a lot more artistic ability than I do(you might).But for replacing an everyday basic light fixture, literally the first one I ever did looks like a professional did it. Or an original equipment item. Honestly, it looks MUCH better than the shades that were installed in these bathrooms in 1974.The light diffusion is very smooth(note the picture looks a bit harsher on the hotspot than the human eye does), which makes it look very appealing as a replacement light diffuser(we have several gone missing in our house, somehow).I can't speak to if it traps heat as that's a very bright but totally cold LED lightbulb behind it.

I had an unusual need for this. I needed to increase the height of my cats litter box on 3 sides due to his arching high urinespray. I needed about 17 inches and NO cat boxes have it so I decided to improvise with something non-staining, flexible, easy tocut with scissors, sturdy, accepting of serious tape. This is it! Many cat owners complain of this type of problem with their male cats.So for them, I suggest: use jumbo size litter box, insert pre cut plastic pieces down to the bottom of the box on the inside of anybox linner but tape them on the outside of the box. Now the shields need to angle outward or they constrict the overall opening of the box.You will notice all boxes have slightly angled outward sides so when you tape to them you will see the need to make about 3 cuts to continue on the same angle outward. Another words the plastic pieces will follow the angle of the box and flare outwards. The pieces can over lap somewhat. Tape the entire length of any edges on both sides with "Surtape DC181" at home depot. DO not extend the tape entering the litter section. The litterwill hold the bottom inside pieces in place. This tape is extremely sticky, slick so non-staining, non absorbing of odor, flexible, tear resistant to claws, easy to cut, waterproof, withstands high heat or cold, inexpensive by some standards, etc. A few shots of "anywhere" clorox spray keeps it sanitized. One piece of this flexible translucent PE plastic sheet will even when cut into the 3 "trapazoid like" pieces cover enough of the backand part of the sides sufficiently. What a relief. Enjoy.

Perfect for my purpose. Needed to make some replacement 'windows' for a solar lamppost that I knocked over (again!). This was the perfect rigidity and easy to cut. BTW - I used a Skil Auto Sharp to cut it, which may be one of the greatest tool inventions ever. worked perfectly for what I needed. We have some odd/old square ceiling lights that were suffering from broken glass. I didn't want to try cutting glass myself or pay for someone else to. This product was super easy to cut. I would highly recommend it for whatever strange projects people have .

Excellent product. I made a light table with glass top and glass back, for product and still life photography. I clamp this translucent sheet so it covers both the back and tabletop, exactly like a portrait backdrop, and then place the product on the sheet. I place my lights under the table and behind it. It diffuses the light coming from behind and underneath the table beautifully. Wine bottles, glasses, and other glassware photograph especially well.Well worth the money, if you want spectacular still lifes.
