If you've ever had your iron crash you know just how miserable it will make you feel. I've always had issues with my iron dipping low here and there but this was the worst yet. No energy, shortness of breath a complete lack of desire to do anything at all...not fun. Once I figured out what was happening, I got some tablet supplements just until I could get to the doctor but what you find on the shelves in most retail stores may not be the best choice for you. There are several different types of iron supplements out there and apparently a lot of argument about which one is most easily absorbed and then the question of whether you should be taking vitamin C with it to increase absorption (apparently one major study indicated C does nothing but it continues to be recommended). On top of everything else there is iron you get from food intake and then other types of iron. As a laymen student of natural healing I've always believed that liquid supplements in some cases are more readily absorbed than something that your body has to break down in the digestive system before it can get the benefits and that's why I looked for a liquid. I've been taking a 25mg tablet for about a month (along with increasing red meat and broccoli consumption) and while I do feel a lot better my stamina still is sorely lacking. I saw a statement in my reading that said that pill form iron is only absorbed about 20% which would seem to support the idea of a liquid even better. From what I've read, it can take several months for your body to restore iron stores after they've fallen into the anemia range of low. I wish somebody offered a home iron test but if there are any, they aren't cheap. Several reviewers of this product stated their iron test benefitted quite a bit using this product for only a month so I'll take the shot as well. Be aware that liquid iron supplements have the bad rap of staining teeth so when I take it I make sure to wash it down with a full glass of water afterwards to get it out of my mouth. The grape flavoring does a good job of making the taste not bad and it comes with a teaspoon inside the box. Be aware this provides almost 700% of the daily recommended iron dose but being a liquid I suspect that's why no one seems to be reporting some of the digestion issues that can come with high doses of an iron supplement (gas, stomach ache etc.). This may not be a supplement you want to take every single day unless you are one of those people with that sort of issue going on, definitely do your research, pay attention to your body and talk to whomever you trust to help you with your health decisions. Low iron sucks best to avoid it if you can for sure. update: There is another liquid iron product sold on amazon that claims to offer the same type of iron supplement, it comes in raspberry or chocolate caramel flavor and is a bit cheaper than this one but it's also a lower dose, 500% compared to 700+% daily recommended dose provided by this one. An 8 ounce bottle is available for not much more than you pay for 4 ounces of this product. I plan to try that one but I want to finish this bottle out first before buying more. Would 100% recommend!I have been dealing with being so tired all the time. No energy or drive and feeling light headed and dizzy at times. I took a blood panel test and it turned out I was low in iron! I started taking this since liquid of anything is always better than pill or chewable form and my energy level is soooo much better!! I definitely feel a huge difference! The only down fall is the after taste,tastes like blood. It’s horrid!! I work in the OR and the smell of blood is what it taste like. Just gross but I give it 5 stars bc it’s working and I’d rather suck it up and take it then feel completely run down! Obviously there’s no getting away from that taste no matter what liquid iron you take so it is what it is!

I wasn’t totally sure about this iron supplement at first—mainly because the label kind of makes it look like a cheap, off-brand product you’d find in a dusty bin somewhere. But I gave it a shot, and honestly, it’s been working out pretty well. I mix it with water in the morning, and while it clumps a little at first, it dissolves fine with a good shake. The taste is actually better than I expected—slightly metallic (because, well, iron), but not unpleasant or overpowering. Most importantly, it’s been easy on the stomach, which is usually the deal-breaker with iron for me. I haven’t had any nausea or weird side effects, and it’s fitting into my routine without much hassle. Still too early to say if it’s moving the needle on my iron levels, but so far, so good. Not the fanciest packaging, but the stuff inside seems to be doing its job just fine.

I bought this supplement because I've had a severe iron deficiency for decades. The tablet supplement I was using was not absorbed very well. So far this supplement seems good but I'll have to take labs to verify. This liquid does look and taste like blood. This wasn't appealing to me so I always wash it down with water or juice.

I was recommended NovaFerrum by my midwife as I wasn't tolerating the ferrous sulfate. So much more tolerable. I mean im not a fan of liquid medication so this is not based on flavor at all. But I can actually keep it down, no nausea at all!

LOVE this product. Works very well, I’ve tried multiple other brands and have always came back. Only reason I tried other brand is because its prices is a little steep. I also wish they made a pull form

I FEEL ALIVE AGAIN.I have only been taking this daily for a week now and cannot express how big of a change that I have noticed.Background- I've battled low ferritin with "average" iron levels for THREE YEARS. Ferritin ranged from 2-15 with severe symptoms (barely can get out of bed, air hunger/shortness of breath, living in a fog etc). I've been prescribed all of the normal iron supplements- none helped at all. I've had infusions, but they're very short lived and never got my ferritin up much. I've tried other liquid irons, patches, Three Arrows Simply Heme (helped, but not enough), Bovine etc. etc.Nothing helped long term or significantly made a difference.I will update my review in a month or two to see if it continues. I should have bloodwork in a month to see the lab work difference as well.*this tastes bad. But, if you're really suffering, I know you will not care one bit. I take it and immediately put a cracker on my tongue for a few seconds then chew and wash down with water. It's worth it.

Fast delivery, easy to swallow, it does have a verry metallic after taste so definitely have some flavored water or coffee to chase it immediately. I haven't had a chance to use it more than 2 days because I went on vacation and didn't want to be stuck from potential side effects. We'll see how I feel after about a month
