Not heavy gauge steel as described, edges so sharp caution must be used when cleaning. Not like the ones of yesteryear for sure, which we still use that are 20+ years old.

The bar across the top may be ok for adolescent chickens but for the keets, the stand on the bar and occasionally poop in the food

I wanted something to separately feed the scratch, but this tips over and chickens just walk on it. Doesn't stay upright, often found turned upside down. May be ok for smaller chickens or chicks.

Used to hang from our Chunnel as an outdoor water source to have filled by our sprinkler system for our chickens.

So disappointed. I was really needing this feeder in my brooder to keep the chicks from pooping in their food. But unfortunately the main piece of this feeder the "anti roost bar" was not sent. Rendering the feeder pretty much useless.The company was easy to deal with and swiftly issued a refund but I still was in the same pickle as I was to begin with.

Good item and fast delivery. I use one to feed three cats soft food in. Fits three big servings easy. This way they each have room to eat and I only have one' bowl to pick up and clean. Works great and clean up easy. Cats love it. The top bar is easily removable. All these years I've been serving, collecting, and cleaning six bowls! I ordered two of these, one each in my two cat kennels. Love this.
