Dye R2 Electronic Paintball Loader

Absolutely no complaints. Put this on my HK Army Shocker AMP and had zero issues feeding with ramping set at the standard 10.5. Popped the speed feed on it in a snap and disassembly for cleaning was a breeze as well. I think at this level of cost, hoppers are more minor personal preferences than functional capability.

I’m getting back into paintball after years away from the sport. I decided to go with a Dye setup (Rize Maxxed, Rotor R2) I love both items.The loader is amazing, it keeps up with the rate of fire on the gun, didn’t think maintenance was too bad for a beginner and the carbon fiber finish looks awesome. Out of 2,000 rounds only one ball broke and I’m not completely sure if it is how I set up the Rize fire rate.My complaints are similar to others. The construction of the loader seems cheap. When I take it apart to clean or change the settings, I feel that the plastic on the sides might break easily. The red lock switches on holding the middle part of the loader are plastic, if not positioned just exactly right when re-assembling, they run the risk of snapping off. I made this mistake and can see a small white crease on one of the locks.This ended up being longer than I intentioned but overall I am satisfied with the loader, just learned to be careful when cleaning. For the price it should have had a little sturdier materials in the crucial parts.

I love the volume of this loader. The marker until I’m running with makes this loader a must. I’m new to the marker world so when I took apart this loader I had trouble at first and I almost threw it through my window. But patience prevailed and I managed to find it to be a very simple and easy to work. The neck thickness of the loader that goes into the marker could be a little thinner and longer so that it will clear the FOV of the iron sights.

I own this hopper and a spire 4. I have a CS2 Pro and a Geo 4. I have put both hoppers on both markers. Both keep up with ramping set to 20-25bpm.Dye can hold a few more balls if you expand the hopper, it supposedly feeds faster too, but again the spire had no issues keeping up with both my markers.Spire 4 has a lower profile and angles that make it less likely to be hit, more durable plastic, easier to disassemble, easier to clean, and all around feels more solid.I wouldn't buy another Dye hopper. The spire 4 all the way.

Best loader on the market for sure. You may think that this looks like a piece of crap for $250 and looks like your normal hopper. Trust me its not. This hopper is amazing. The reload alert system is so well made and everything is so easily detachable. You can easily change from 200-260 paintball capacity which improves your game. There is a shark fin on the bottom to anti-jam your hopper which is genius. I use this all the time and it rarely jams. I have seen many other loaders and this is by far the best. The lid is so easily changeable compared to the first one. It has such a solid frame compared to virtue spire and other hoppers on the market. This hopper is definitely worth it and is something I would recommend to anyone who plays paintball.

This is the best rotor you can buy. The reason for the 4 stars is that there is no way that it can actually fit 260. It fits 250 comfortably without the possibility of a break or jam. And dare i say 255 but never 260. I use paint roughly the size .686 so i welcome anyone who may beg to differ. Other than that it is a solid rotor. Without the expansion it fits 200 exactly. With it 250-254. No complaints other than that. Just be sure to read the Manual. I personally dont like the alert sound of low ammo so i will be turning that switch off

This loader is great, I did not change any settings aside from the beep of the counter. The reason I went with the r2 was mainly because it was the only loader available in tiger stripe, but I have come to love how reliable and how good it really is. Yes some guys may like their spires or tfx, but I have not had a single jam, or any problems running reball. Being a scenario player I love that I can switch from 200-260 in a second. I have put it on a range of markers that myself or friends own and it always keeps up no problem.

Nach Wechsel meines Markierers sah ich diesen Loader, er passt perfekt dazu! Je nach Lichteinfall sieht er ganz hellgrau, oder schneeweiß aus. Die transparente Mitte changiert farblich passend zu meinem Maskenglas. Ich liebe es, wenn Dinge eine harmonische Einheit bilden <3 Zuvor nutzte ich den R2 "Patriot" und bin von der Funktionsweise absolut überzeugt. Sehr verlässlich, keine Probleme mit Stau, Quickfeed mit einem Handgriff zu montieren und auch für noch ungeübte Spielende leicht blind zu podden dank großer Öffnung.Zur Reinigung ist keinerlei Werkzeug nötig. Einfach den Riegel hinten nach rechts schieben und die Oberschale abnehmen. Die Mitte mit der Bodenwippe ist mit wenigen Handgriffen ebenfalls demontiert. Die Batterien werden im Fach durch ein Klett an Ort und Stelle gehalten, so dass auch bei einem etwas festeren Stoß nix passiert.Zur Vergrößerung des Volumens den hinteren Riegel nach links schieben, Oberschale hochziehen - fertig! Das akustische Signal nach ca. 160 Bällen hilft das Nachpodden zu timen und wer die Dye I5 trägt, kann sich noch nähere Informationen und Hinweise ansagen lassen per Nachrüstung des E Voke Systems.Ich bin sehr glücklich mit diesem Loader und würde das Modell jederzeit empfehlen!

Schönes Muster, was mir persönlich nicht gefallen hat ist das der R2 im Vergleich zu den Vorgänger durch die Neurungen etwas pfrimlig is zum zerlegen. Geht schon aber beim anderen ging es einfacher und schneller. Dafür kann der aber auch etwas mehr.Cooles Teil
