Honeywell Home RCHT9510WF T9 Wi-Fi Smart Thermostat + RCHTSENSOR-2PK Smart Room Sensor (2-Pack)

My thermostat was installed out in the hall and not in either of the rooms I occupy. This thermostat and its remotes has allowed me to run the thermostat using one remote or the other depending on where I am. It works through an app that allows you to turn on and off the heat/ac and to choose which remote to use (or combinations of sensors).Installation was easy and the app is pretty simple and effective - it comes with lots of tools and tips to help install it on all kinds of systems. Fortunately, for me the defaults all just worked. The only problem is that there are several deceptively named apps in the Apple Appstore that sound like the right thing, but aren't. As long as you get the right one - "Resideo" all will be well.

I've never really done any electrical work, but this was super easy to install and kinda fun! It comes with an adapter, so I was able to just return the other adapter that I bought. Great product!My only complaint is that the name of the company has changed, so the inconsistency between the name on the thermostat and the actual company now was a bit confusing to set up the online account. Doing the physical setup was easy, doing the online stuff was a hassle. When that is finished though, the product works great, and tech support was also really quick to respond!

Love that you get additional sensors and base the heat/cool of those sensors. Great product

I installed it easily, and well after that have now had zero complaints. The app seems bug free and does everything I can think of to ask of it. No potential privacy issues. A good deal.

I bought one for my living room and never had one single problem with it. Got a second for my room and it was already registered, returned it and was sent another that was registered…I’m assuming Amazon is to blame, but I’m not certain the company didn’t send them back out as new without wiping them. It is nice that you can use sensors, I had major issues bc my house has two hvacs, and my daughters rooms were freezing in the winter and hot in the summer prior to buying the one that worked. You can also control it using Alexa, so that’s a nice feature.

This thermostat was easy to install (I'm tech savvy) and works very well. I do like the satellite feature and the app to control the settings from anywhere. The temperature averaging did help the overall temperature in the house until we got the ducting fixed... Now it works even better.If you need geofencing reliably this may not be the product for you. I have never had it work reliably. However, it may be because some of the connected devices are cheaper/older phones. It may work more reliably with newer higher end devices.
