Ohaus - 30253019 Scout Pro Portable Electronic Balance, 200g Capacity, 0.01g Readability

Ohaus is known for high quality products and this one definitely is. It will measure to an accuracy of +/- .01 gram which is what I wanted. The slightest movement of air will affect the reading. It has features I will probably not use but it is still worth the cost.

This is our second Ohaus balance with 200gm capacity and 0.01g precision. We had to send the one we had earlier for calibration and ordered this one. We had good experience with the Ohaus balances over the years. The newer balance has additional features such as locking during transportation. The product was shipped promptly.

I bought this for laboratory use. It's ok. It was easy to level, but after struggling with it all day I still couldn't get it to read accurately. I wasn't able to calibrate it as the instructions stated. The measurements are slightly off. I wouldn't use this for extremely precise measurements. I regret not returning it right away.

The product arrived as expected. It works for our shipping dept.

I needed this for work and I have past experience with this scale. This is a great scale to use if you work if accuracy of 0.01 grams is enough for you.The seller got it to me really quickly using just the standard shipping. Very impressive.

Our school has purchased a number of these scales. None of them have lasted more than 2 years. They are poorly built, and lack any sort of reasonable durability.

I weigh Plaster and Alginate For dental use. great for consistency.
