I had surgery in July and I've had issues with hair loss. I wanted to give it time to see how well this would work. Luckily it has aided in strengthening my hair and I've suffered minimal loss the last two months.

I was not prepared for the miracle of this clay! I'm touching my hair in awe as i'm writing this review. I'm asking everyone in my house to touch and feel my hair... they don't have a choice! (I need an audience to attest the miraculous unicorn powder mixed with fairy dust magic inside this pouch). On a serious note, I'm in love with this clay. I've used it on my hair, as a mask-shampoo (because YouTube Gurus told me so) .I simply mixed it with water, left it in my hair for 30 mins or so, then rinsed it out and finished with a conditioner. That's it! I'm left with coils from the Gods!It's wonderful for Natural Minimalist Beauties, looking for a natural way to moisturize and take care of their hair. I will be getting Locs soon, and will incorporate this clay into it as well. I will update in couple months with locs!

It mixed into a very creamy mask, which I've had trouble finding in other clays. My face tingled a little with it on, and then was slightly red after, but I believe that could be due to several other factors. My face felt very soft after which was nice. I'm going to keep using the mixture I made and will update if anything changes.

I simply have one question: Where has this clay -- and this Amazon seller -- been all my life? I truly cannot put into words how much of a lifesaver this product has been for my hair. In a nutshell, here is my story: After abusing my naturally curly hair for years, trying in vain to make it bone straight, I have recently decided to embrace what God gave me. In my research on how to care for and maintain healthy, natural curls, I had read that ghassoul clay can provide the hair unparalleled moisture while clarifying the hair and reviving curl definition. My hair was in such dire need of all of the above, I figured buying a bag of this was worth a shot. Fast forward nearly one month and three applications later: This stuff is the truth. My hair indeed looks, feels, and responds better to my hair products. This is a holy grail for me! And Zakia Morocco's lightening fast shipping and excellent customer service is the cherry on top.

I used this on my dense, low porosity, extremely kinky natural hair and my hair LOVES this stuff (my hair usually hates almost everything). If you have hair similar to mine, I highly suggest mixing this with hot water (the clay absorbs the water better and creates less clumps). Also putting this clay on your hair while it is still warm is just heaven. I left it on my hair for about 30 minutes, covering it with a plastic cap. It rinsed out very easily.What the clay left behind completely surprised me. My hair was super clean, moisturized like I have never felt it and a breeze to detangle! WOW!! My hair felt thicker and just amazing! There was no need to deep condition. I can't wait to use this again. Great product... I like this much better than bentonite clay.

Let me first start off by saying this product is great. What I did not appreciate was that my address and label was printed directly on the back of the product instead of my product being placed in a small box. Thankfully nothing was damaged but that wasn’t nice to see the product not packaged properly.

I use this clay for my 4a/b/c low porosity hair. If I am clarifying my hair with castile soap I use this as a conditioning mask afterwards. Otherwise I use it as a shampoo mask. I mix this with warm coconut water and add honey, grapeseed oil and a teaspoon of cinnamon. Depending on the weather I also use vegetable glycerine. I apply to wet hair and cover with plastic caps for 30 minutes to a hour and then rinse out. It has improved the condition of my hair by adding moisture. My hair and scalp are left clean and healthy. Also if your hair is low porosity use very warm water in your hair treatments and add heat when deep conditioning. It helps to open up your hair cuticle to allow moisture to penetrate.
