This is a great brush. Feels good on my scalp and goes through my long, fine hair easily. The brush on the left I bought in March, 2021. I use it several times a day and it looks nearly as good as new. The one on the right I bought in January 2025. I use a wood comb to remove the hair regularly. I use, occasionally, a wire cleaning comb to clear the dust/debris that builds up in the base of the bristles. I washed/dried it before taking these pictures and it's probably been a year or more since I last washed it. I haven't lost any of the ball tips on the nylon bristles. I'm guessing that's due to human error, not the brush. Using the wrong tools to clean it, being too rough when cleaning and soaking in water will destroy any brush.

Feels like decent quality, wooden handle is smooth, bristles are secure. Before using I washed it with baby shampoo and it washed and dried nicely. Bristles feel softer since washing. Brush is a nice size for holding and for brushing. It glides through my hair well, no snagging or pulling. Great brush for a reasonable price.

So, I had previously succumbed to influencing & was fully convinced that what I needed in my life was a bamboo brush. The kind with the thick, hard, bamboo bristles. At first, I was blind & kept using it, because I thought it was good for me, but after 2 YEARS of use, I started to notice major damage happening to my hair. It's now very brittle, the texture is rough, & I have so many broken pieces & terrible frizz. Looking back, I should have known better, because that brush had been not easy to use- I went through a lot of tugging & pulling, & the brush struggled harshly with knots.Well, because of that debacle, I was researching what I could do to help minimize more damage so that I can help my hair heal, & a lot of sources recommended a boar-bristle brush. Now, I have a LOT of hair- it's very long, (stops at the middle of my behind), straight, & it's very thick. I wasn't convinced that a boar bristle brush was going to go through my tough locks. But, then I found this brush, with the extra long plastic bristles intermingled, & I figured I'd try it.When I tell you this brush went through my hair like it was infused with magic, I really mean it! I tried it first on dry hair, without any product, & it just glided through. I've been using it for about a week now, on both wet & dry hair, (I use a leave-in detailer to help with brushing my wet hair), & I want to cry, it's such a life-changer. Absolutely no tugging, no ripping or tearing, & it goes through knots literally like a knife through softened butter. It's incredible, & I can't see myself ever going back to any other kind of brush. As far as longevity, it's holding up for me so far, but even if it breaks within a year, I don't even care, I will buy another one.

Nice boar bristle brush. Regular use creates shining thicker hair.

I love this brush, it has been a game changer in my hair routine. I have thinner hair and my only drawback is that the boar bristles seem fairly short for my thin hair. As another review noted, you really have to work to get thinner hair to the boar bristles portion. I’m looking at a pure boar bristles brush for that, but for the time being and given the affordable price this is a great brush. Probably better for thicker hair though.

I love the way this brush effortlessly removes tangles in my hair even after a night of sleep.It feels just wonderful to my scalp and my hair looks shinier and fuller.

Pros:1. It brushes my hair well. It does not catch/pull in my thick wavy hair. My hair length is roughly 13 inches long.2. It is seemingly good quality. The bamboo wood feels finished and does not have any spliters or rough spots.3. It's made out of boar hair and hairbrush bristles.4. The brush is light weight.Cons:1. A few reviews said that this brush was a game changer that felt like "butter" gliding down and evenly distributed their scalps oils. This has not occurred for me yet. However, I have been using the brush for only a few weeks now.

I bought this after an influencer said it was the perfect brush! And she was right! Smooths hair done! Not too gentle, but not too rough… more on the gentler side! It’s literally the perfect brush! BUY IT!
