Definitly 5 stars!! i bought this when my kitten came home from the Humane Society with ringworm!!! I was able to keep a close eye on her while she was taking medicine. This works amazing and I felt empowered by having it knwoing that I could check on my sweet kitty daily to watch the progress.

The product arrived on time and packaged well. The instructions are easy to follow. The magnifying glass is okay but the UV lights could be stronger?? It doesn't seem to illuminate the skin as I imagined it would. Overall, it is a good product to use for the time being.

I bought this because I work for a cat rescue and needed a good lamp for detecting ringworm. I had a cheap black light that was inadequate for clearly showing the green glowing sign of ringworm. This woods lamp shows the glowing spots very clearly, and it has a magnifying glass to look through. Soooooo much easier to identify and treat ringworm this way. And the price is very reasonable. There are more expensive ones but this one works fine for what I need.

I purchased the light to help identify ringworm spots on my kitten. When it arrived and opened the box I saw that it was packaged in a thin layer of bubble wrap. In removing the light from the box I could hear a rattling sound. Nonetheless, I tried using it. The light that emanated was really weak and barely visible. The one at my veterinarian office was strong and clearly showed spots where ringworm was present. Disappointed after reading some reviews and returning the light. Hope this helps.

If you using this for skin analysis- don’t buy it!! Doesn’t work. I am an esthetician and gave a friend, who has melasma, a facial. I was excited to use the woods lamp to see what was hiding UNDER her skin- but this device doesn’t show anything. I couldn’t see any damage - including the melasma that I could see with a naked eye. I absolutely should have been able to see melasma through the woods lamp.
