The Best Fidget Toy I've Tried So Far!
I have a very bad habit of fidgeting around with pens -- and then ultimately breaking them. I've broken clips off them, snapped them in half, and jammed up the parts irreparably by taking them apart and putting them back together (often times incorrectly). I needed something else to keep my hands occupied and so I decided to try a few different 'fidget toys' to see if they would help. I got a fidget cub, one of the keyring/bike chain deals, and the Twiddle Mega. I've used them all over the past couple of weeks and the Twiddle Mega is hands down my favorite. I can crumple it up, swing it around, and lock pieces in place without having to worry about damaging it. I'll wrap it around my hands and 'tie' knots in it then take it apart and do it all over again. While the plastic is hard it is very comfortable in my hands. The pieces are small but they lock together very tightly and they don't make too much noise when you're messing around with it. My only complaint in the beginning was that the Twiddle Mega was a bit too long for my tastes. But then I ended up breaking it apart into two smaller Twiddles. Now I keep one at work and one at home! Considering the smaller Twiddles are about the same price as the Twiddle Mega on Amazon right now, you may as well get the Twiddle Mega and split it apart and get two for the price of one!If you're looking to occupy time by building things or making shapes out of the Twiddle you might be disappointed. The pieces just aren't really great for that. But if you want something sturdy to just mess around with in your hands mindlessly, the Twiddle is a great choice.

A nifty idea that’s not for everyone
I like to keep my hands busy basically all the time, so I’m always on the lookout for a pocketable thing. I was intrigued by reviews of it fitting into your palm but being 5 feet long, so I ordered a Mega Glow with an open mind. It really does have tiny links, not super clicky sounding, very fluid. It give me the same nice feeling as balling up and stretching out a strand of Mardi Gras beads, which it totally my jam, but the Twiddle feels obviously more angular and sturdier. Pieces do snap apart and reconnect very easily, definitely not safe for little ones unsupervised, but as and adult I find it enjoyable. The only real “crunch” aspect is if you have it balled up in your palm while opening and closing your fist. Definitely an at-home fidget, especially if you find yourself wanting to make the designs in the included suggestions. Not for everyone, but I’m considering getting a smaller size to keep in my day bag since it’s so quiet.

Very cool, but unexpectedly small!
The media could not be loaded. I bought this for my college student daughter as a fidget aid to help her study for finals. I didn't realize the MEGA referred to the length, not the size. The pieces are very small! Various pages on Amazon show the different Twiddles with lots of photos of the products, but I don't see any that show it in relation to actual size objects.Yes, the product is pretty cool and keeps your hands busy (see my video of the Twiddle in action). My daughter found it helped her study. The alternating colors are fun and catch your eye (my daughter put them in order while studying, they come alternating as shown in the product photo). It is small enough to cram in a pocket, yet the string is long enough to hang around your neck like a long lanyard or double over as a necklace.Give it a try, it isn't going to break the bank at $15. I LOVE Twiddle!!!
I have been walking with a crutch for the past 6 years, My sciatic nerve is torn down the entire length of my right leg. The pressure from the crutch in my hand ruptured the tendon in my right hand between my right thumb and index finger in March of 2013. I had to have surgery to repair the tendon and remove a cyst that formed in the damaged tissue. My surgery was July 3rd, and physical therapy started 16 days after.I have been using my 70 piece Twiddle for physical therapy to rebuild my hand and wrist muscles.I re-ruptured the same tendon and can't use my thumb until after my 2nd surgery, in 2 weeks. I ordered the Mega Twiddle (glow) to rebuild my muscles for a 2nd time. Out of all of the methods of physical therapy I have to do, I find Twiddle to be the easiest, and the most fun. It goes by so fast because I actually have fun with it.

This thing is super long. I've turned it into multiple little 18 link chains to keep in my pocket and I've given them to coworkers to do the same with. Everybody loves fidgeting with them and it has helped every one be a little less stressed on crazy days.

Great for fidgeting hands
We tend to sit in waiting rooms a lot since I have a health issue. My husband gets bored pretty easily and our cell phones don't always have a signal. Believe it or not, I bought this from Amazon to keep in my purse for him. The pieces move easily and you can snap them in/out. The colors are vibrant. This is a great "toy" for fidgeting hands in my opinion.Children may have trouble snapping the pieces in and out - especially if they don't have a hard surface (like a table) in front of them.
