Hormone Harmony Over 35: A New, Natural, Whole-Body Approach to Limitless Female Health

A Must Read for Every Woman
I love Dr. Sands...I wish I had her book to read when I was a teenage girl and thought there were no solutions to my painful woman issues, and later in life when I was dealing with ovarian cysts, infertility and fibroid. What an eye opener in comparison to the all the doctors in white coats that are essentially drug pushers for the pharmaceutical industry! There is hope for millions of women out there. Dr. Sands has been there and her functional medicine approach (with an "how to" plan in her book) is a breath of fresh air. It is time we all become our own advocate when it comes to our health. Thank you Dr. Sands! I am a fan.

Great information and easy to read.
I love this book. It’s packed full of useful information that I wish I had had earlier in my life. Better late than never but it’s so important to know how to truly be healthy and manage our hormones. Thank you for this amazing resource. I especially enjoy the link to the videos. Super helpful ❤️

Eye-Opening, Easy to Read, but…
This was well written and easy to follow. Informative and seems like the author is quite knowledgeable and into holistic care that gets to the root and doesn’t just treat symptoms. As for her three-week hormonal reset protocol, this is where I got discouraged. It seems like it would be extremely restrictive and difficult to stay on. Also, if you have managed to stick with it and “reset” your hormones, what happens when you finish the protocol and reincorporate all the off-limit foods? Wouldn’t your hormone imbalance just eventually come back? In fact the author suggests “you come back to it a few times a year.”I did appreciate the author’s list of specific things/hormones to have checked when you have your blood work; I plan to take this to my doctor for my physical exam and request that these be tested. She also points out that the usual “normal” ranges that the doctors use many times do not detect an imbalance bc those ranges are basically averages. She then includes optimal ranges, which I plan to use when I get my blood tested.

Help is finally here
I saw Dr Sands on a health summit webcast. Everything she said resonated with me as a post menopausal woman trying to feel normal again. I have read the book and am looking forward to embarkOmg on a healing journey. Fingers crossed.

Comprehensive Hormone Help
In this book Dr. Sands provides a great introduction to your hormones, their importance, how to test them, and includes a whole body approach to hormone health. She even includes amazing recipes for a metabolic rehab to help boost your hormones naturally!

Great tasting shake
I love the chocolate shake. It tastes delicious and it keeps me feeling full for hours. The texture is smooth and not gritty.

A MUST but
Really great book it explains everything clearly and even tells you what tests to ask your Dr for. What I loved was for those of you who are struggling to maintain information (like me) there was a section you could go to and down load the videos to watch, that way you can keep playing them back. She is a no nonsense Dr, as she said she has nothing to gain as she isn't marketing any products or selling endorsements. The Dr actually went through all this herself which is why she started looking into things more and researching .There is also a detox at the back so you can skip some chapters and go straight to detox, which the author suggests. However I found the book really interesting so chose not to do that. 👍
