I Make Homemade Dog Food
I purchased these for the ease of adding to my homemade Dog Food. Eggsshells are an excellent source of calcium. They do have a slight odor but not pungent at all. I guess that is to be expected from this type of product. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase as it is so much easier than saving and grinding my own shells.

Zucchini's need calcium!
And we have tried everything...milk, tums, drying and crushing our own eggshells. But it was great to be able to just purchase ground eggshells and add them to the garden. We got more zucchini this year than ever before with no fuss getting the shells into the dirt. A little expensive, but so worth it.

Not Fine enough for dogs.
The powder was still too coarce.

Misleading advertising 80 eggs shells NOT 500
This product claims to contain 500 eggs shells. It has less than 1/5 of that. 15oz=424g an average egg weights 5.5g therefore package contains approximately 80 egg shells NOT 500. Aside from the gross misrepresentation, the product does look great.

Arrived as expected and advertised.
It came today and I immediately put it down around the Basil plants. The slugs are eating the plants and it is my hope that this will stop them.
