Excellent pan!
Replaced our worn out deep sauce pan and this one fit the bill perfectly! Well made and easy to clean. Very pleased with purchase! ; )

Great medium sized pan
Love Oxo products and this pan is great! It's a little smaller than I thought but I'm only cooking for 3 adults so it's really an excellent size. The top is well fitting and that's both a + & -. When you place it on the pan, it's gently staying there and sealing it. But if you need to vent the pan a little by angling the top open on one side, it immediately slides back in to the fully sealed state. I kinda rested the top on the handle as support (you'll know what I mean when you try it) but the condensation dripped onto the glass top stove making a bit of a mess. So the lid is on or off. Otherwise, it's an excellent pan by a fantastic kitchen product brand! I've always been pleased with everything I've gotten from Oxo.

OXO Good Grips 3QT Covered Chef Pan is very good. It is well constructed, the non-stick surface is durable (based on other OXO non-stick pans) and cleans up easily. The shape of the pan allows it to be used as a wok or chefs pan. The handles appear sturdy and are well insulated. The only slight negative is that I would have preferred a slightly thicker pan.

The Best Pan.... For a family of 4!
This is the perfect size pan to make everything from stir fries to scrambled eggs to rice or pasta. The 3 layer non-stick has lasted over 2 years and it doesn't seem to be losing it's non stick ability. I've bought this pan from my family and friends and they've been equally pleased!

Love, love, love the deepness of this pan!
I bought this pan because I like the 8" omelet pan so much (maybe even more than my 8" ScanPan). My 10" ScanPan is almost ridiculously shallow and lacks a lid, so I was looking for something deeper.So far, this Chef's Pan has been perfect! Makes it SO much easier to sauté veggies then add-in rice or pasta: no need to transfer to a bigger, deeper pan. The lid will be wonderful if I need to hold food in a warm oven, and it fits like a glove. The nonstick finish on the omelet pan has stood up very, very well (I am careful with it) so I anticipate that the finish on this pan will hold up well, too. We shall see.I now crave a somewhat large version-- 10 - 11" (not as big as 12")-- also with a lid, for larger, bulkier recipes. OXO, are you listening?

This has a very reliable non--stick surface but NEVER use at high heat
You need to experiment with your cooking to get the most out of these pans. Very good strrong stick free surface. Use with a little oil NEVER try to fry on HIGH HEAT. High heat destroys the non stick but it is easy to clean and almost all foods slide right out which is what I wanted when I purchased it. You need to do any frying at lower than usual fry hear and I use some water one the surface of meat has stuck and cook until safe to eat. Great chicken USE MEAT THERMOMETER WITH CHICK TO BE SURE IT IS COOKED ENOUGH.

Dimensions not as advertised
Received a pan than was damaged, appears to have been previously used. Non-stick coating was scratched and damaged; edges worn and gouged. Also pan is smaller in diameter than advertised by about a inch, and the side walls are taller. What i received was labeled as a "sauce-pan", not a "chef's pan." Returning for a refund.

awesome pan
great design with the way the handles are laid out. Did an egg and fry a piece of chicken. Egg did not stick and chicken browned nicely. No regards. Happy kitchen.

Best nonstick pan for people looking for the best nonstick pan. Form & Function
I recently received my second pan after 2-3 years of daily use of my first one. As per all non-sticks, don't use metal (or wood, really), be careful with salt before it assimilates into the food, use soft sponge only. This is by far the longest-lasting pan surface I've ever used, and will continue to buy this pan in the future until I can't any longer. It just lasts. I'm using it on a standard electric coil cooktop.Oh yeah and the silicone grips are perfect, it feels excellent in the hand. Form and Function? Get at me.

Love the two handles and the depth of the pan. Makes tossing pasta with sauce easy! Excellent surface.

Rubbish for induction
Concave bottom makes it useless for induction. Go elsewhere
