A stunning collection of beautiful line art!
Oh my goodness gracious! There wasn't a single review for this book and I foolishly ordered it anyway. I have been "burned " so many times before when I have done this. Fortunately for me, this time, this book is absolutely spectacular! The line art in this book is just gorgeous. The actual lines come much closer to gray than black, which is absolutely wonderful. Having gray line art allows you to very nearly "erase" them with your pencils. I say pencils, because they are my favorite medium, but I'm sure that many other mediums will also be spectacular. All of the fabulous pictures are printed single sided on a bright white paper that is similar to, or actually is Create space paper. That being said, you will either love the paper or hate it. I honestly would suggest that you copy the picture that you plan to color onto your favorite art paper for best results. If you plan on coloring directly in the book I suggest that you use a good blotters behind the page.I would guesstimate that based upon the intricacies of the artwork that this book is for the intermediate to advanced colorist. I can hardly wait to sharpen my pencils and get busy!As always, have a most blessed day and color on!

The Cover Says It All
The cover art is as beautiful as the book's other illustrations. The best part is that there is a lot of detail, but much of it can be ignored to focus on the figure, with the background darkened. There are so many options with the pictures, because you can bring in the light from any angle. The book gives the colorist all the choices. The media you use is up to you, but be aware that the paper isn't up to alcohol markers or watercolor. I use colored pencils, and a soft pencil like Prismacolors, or any of the soft pencils, is a good way to go. Use a blotter sheet no matter what you use.I am very pleased with this book, and will buy multiple copies if I decide a picture could be done several different ways. (Or you can always take the book apart and use a copier and better paper to be able to use watercolor or markers on this.)The bottom line is that the art is beautiful, and you will be putting your own stamp on such beautiful artwork. It is one of my favorite books.

super cute
overall, it was a very beautiful coloring book, but some of the spaces for coloring were too thin. would recommend a fine tip for coloring.

Wonderful detail on very nice scenes, fun to do!
Great details, each was different, the girls were ladies of the forests, as promised this was directed to women and it’s appreciated.I become absorbed in these details and moments of peace are always a great thing for anyone.

They’re habit forming, easy and fun. And not cartoonish
I originally bought this for my wife, but the detail kind of intimidated her, so I’m doing them. There fun, gives to imagination. But. Has a down side. I’ve just got back to free hand drawing from pictures and just started to dabble in painting. It’s a learning experience as I taught myself with oils, and now trying acrylics.

LOVE IT! So beautiful and fun!
I have had So Much fun with this book!! Fantastic. Beautiful drawings. I have used colored pencils & sharpies & glitter glue/glitter. You'll definitely need a paper between pages for bleed-through on sharpies, but worth it. So beautiful. Might buy it a second time.

Beautiful and relaxing
So many beautiful illustrations! I recommend a thin point pencil or marker because there is very small lines. I also love how relaxing it is to just sit down and take your time coloring all the beautiful pictures.
