The "icy hot" effect is really intense; it makes my arthritic joints and surrounding muscles feel much better right away. The intense hot-and-cold sensation lasts about 20 minutes, long enough for oral pain medication (in my case, Tramadol) to begin to kick in. Then, it lingers at a lesser intensity for maybe another half hour. For me, the two pain-relieving approaches together is the best way to get rid of the worst pain fast. You can always spray on a little more if your pain is especially intractable.As an aside, I want to mention that I sought a product like this to replace the other topical analgesics like SalonPas and Icy Hot I had been using to treat arthritis pain because both are full of chemicals that I just don't need. This product, Fast Freeze All-Natural Menthol Spray, is made with menthol--and that's it. Menthol is the only ingredient. In addition, the company that makes it, near as I can tell, does not test on animals, which is important to me.Finally, this product has a clean, natural menthol smell, whereas SalonPas has added some sort of perfume to its formula, which, to my nose, is repulsive. Who wants to smell like dime store men's cologne? So for me, this stuff is an all-around winner.

Fast Freeze works fast it really helps me when I have pain.

Works pretty well. Smells like the sun burn spray we had as kids. Cools down any heat or pain you may have. I have bad back and neuropathy in legs/feet due it the back issues. This helps calm down the burning you sometimes feel with nerve damage. I spray it on at night before bed. It smells a bit but dissipates rather quickly. Cools down your body. Go good product! I'd buy again.

i heard about this product online and just about all the reviews i have read were really good. i have a chronic medical condition with my muscles and spine and have tried so many over the counter products but really didnt help me any. i have tried icy hot, biofreeze and max freeze. so i tried fast freeze and was really pleased with the product and it helped me alot with my joints and sore muscles. it helped me to be able to get comfortable at night and to be able to rest. my sister lives in south florida and she too has the same medical condition like i do and i told her about fast freeze and she tried it and she too is very pleased with the product. i am sold as a regular customer to continue to purchase this product on a monthly basis. i was very surprised that you can only buy it online and not in the stores. i am very thankful that it is available on amazon. thanks amazon i am a very happy customer

I may have been expecting an iceberg, so I was disappointed.

Works well, sprays evenly and coats nicely. Be sure to turn off your ceiling fan before use. Your nose won't appreciate the menthol overspray. ;-)
