QT S Historical Iraqi Kukri Knife 11 IN Fixed Blade Gurkha Khukuri, Leather Sheath & 2 Small Knife - Handmade In Nepal

Bought this kukri for field use, it should serve this purpose fine. The blade came sharp enough for my needs, the angle of the grind should survive rough use, but its not razor sharp. I could not find any flaws or cracks in the blade or tang. The fit and finish of the blade and handle are acceptable in this price range, the finger grooves fit great in my medium sized hands. The full tang looks to be well peened to the pommel, and the lanyard hole is big enought for paracord. The sheath took some use to get the blade to side in easily, but is serviceable.

Opened the package to discover the kukri will not fit in the sheath. This kukri is very heavy, not really usable for bushcraft/camping. Also the seller's name is printed on the blade. Granted it showed this on the image but I assumed it was a photoshopped image for advertising, nope.

I'm honestly kind of surprised at the quality for the price.

My Kukuri arrived just in a day earlier than what shipping order indicated. I took it out the box and plastic wrapping, while still out in my driveway. I was doing some yard work; so why not put it to the work?This thing came razor sharp out of the box! It fit in my hand as if it was custom made just for me... very comfortable. The weight and balance is spot on...and handles very well. Yes! I did chop some wood with it just for the fun it and was blown away at easily it took down a 4" dia. juniper tree. Love it!!After cleaning up outside; it was time for dinner. with Kukuri cleaned up I used it to process a whole chicken down into parts. I even chopped some veggies. No sharpening required!!I plan to replace my camp knife with this Kukuri as soon as I get a kydex sheath made for it.I can't say anything negative about it. Absolutely wonderful tool!!
