Q: My great granddaughter is only 2, is this appropriate

The stethoscope might be too tight for little ears, but all the other accessories are really well made with round edges. My daughter was 2 and and a few months when I bought it and she really enjoyed playing with and learned a lot.

Q: Is this suitable for a 6 year old or is this for younger children?

Yes I think it would be fine children love re play so I'm sure the child would enjoy playing with this.

Q: Is this ideal for a 7yr old.please?

This set is brilliant, I think it would be really good for a 7 year old if they are in to playing doctors and dentists etc I bought it for my 3 year old girl, although a lot younger she loves it. She is ahead of her age! The teeth are magnetic so you can pretend to pull them out with the tweezers, the medicines have magnetic lids. It’s well made being wooden. As long as your child likes this type of role play then I would say yes! I put bandages in it as well as some plasters! You could also put an empty tube of savlon or something in it too to make it more “7 year oldish” we got it at Xmas and it’s out at least 3 times a year week if not more! The costume is a little flimsy and may be a little small so would suggest a to purchase that separately if they like dressing up. Good luck, hope this helps!!
