If you are a DIY’er and have a selection of nuts and bolts in your shed/garage, you may find these captive T Nuts really useful - especially for jobs where occasional disassembly may be required and accessing a more traditional nut may be difficult, especially if the material used needs a washer to spread the load. Works best on materials 12mm/half inch thick or more.
