Vionic Women's Wave 44WAVE

The sizing information was confusing, some reviews seemed to point in the right direction, yet I remained skeptical until my flips arrived today.I wear men's size 10.5 (in athletic shoes the wider the better) and the recommendations I read on Amazon were by and large to order down a half size if you are in between. My confidence was restored in my decision to order men's 10/women's 11 when I opened the box, checked them against my current favorite Rainbow flip flops and they overall dimensions were nearly identical! The real proof was that they fit really well and I could feel the orthotic arch support. I used orthotics in my regular shoes so it was not an unusual sensation. Plus, for years I've worn Birkenstocks and the foot bed feels quite similar.They are light but well made. The strap is comfy, no "breaking in" required. Based on using products made from similar materials I won't avoid getting them wet occasionally, but I do think they will last longer and look good longer than my Rainbows, which are now my number 2 pair.A note on the color: I ordered khaki and the photo on the Amazon site made them look beige, but the actual color is a muted or light olive green. Not complaining but if they came in beige or more of a light tan or camel color, I'd rather have that.

Turns out my right hip problems were caused by a weak arch/flat foot gig going on in my right foot. Once I started wearing insoles and using these flops to provide strong arch support, the pain went away. They are also built to last. Exceptionally pleased.

I have been suffering from severe foot pain for a year. I purchased a great running shoe that provides the support I need for work and whenever I am on my feet for hours a day. But I wanted a sandal for the summer that would also provide the support needed to reduce the pain in my feet. These sandals are the best I've found so far, even better than Birkenstocks. I have these sandals right next to my bed, and I slip them on first thing in the morning. I did order a size larger, as was suggested, but they are too big. It looks like I'm wearing my husbands sandals, lol! But they work for the pain, so I still wear them. I should have ordered a size smaller.

I have been wearing this style for over 10 years. Something has happened to the sizing. These fit short and do not match previous styles in length and width.

I've lost count of the number of flip flops I've purchased to fit my wide, thick feet while also giving arch support. These Vionic Unisex Wave Toe-post Sandal fit the bill! A little pricey, but well worth it!
