unless all vehicles are stationary it is unlikely you will be able to get a registration number (camera unit set to record front and rear so only 1080p as best quality available).If there was a bump then what happened would be clear and this was the reason for purchase, if one party chose not to stop then there may not be enough evidence to get them traced.3* with an extra given for value for price with simple setup and a very good app (phone and computer)

Easy enough to install for anyone with a bit of time to run the cable neatly , picture quality would be better if it did not pick up a bit of glare from the bottom of the rear window sometimes , but a part from that it is a good rear camera .

My husband took car to be cleaned. He didn't realise that the cleaning of the rear window had caused the camera to come off of the mount.Once home we found we were unable to replace it.Took it back to the car showroom that fitted it, to be told that we would need to buy a complete new camera, as a pin was missing and they would be unable to replace. They also suggest sticking it back with blutack!!Contacted Kenwood in December and find I'm still awaiting a reply in February. However, we went to showroom today & saw the chap that fitted the camera originally & he put it straight up on. The camera appears to fit left to right, But, it fits from right to left.
