No, it does not set your makeup. However, it does refresh your skin. I love it! I spray on several times a day and before I go to bed.

Does the rose water contain alcohol?

It is alcohol free, but it does have witch hazel. I have dry to normal skin,and this does keep my skin balanced, especially in hot weather.
