I appreciate having these on hand for the rare occasion that I need to put my hair up while it's still wet. They absorb a lot of water so that it doesn't run down your neck. However, I don't use them often (maybe once every other month) and I've never had a reason to use two at a time, so one has been under the sink for a year while the other has been used five times or so and lives on the counter. You can see in the picture how the pattern has degraded somewhat and the color has yellowed. The elastic has also loosened up quite a bit. If I had been using this every few days or once a week I would expect this amount of degradation, but after such limited use I'm a bit surprised, not that I noticed until I put them next to each other. This might indicate that they won't hold up under a lot of use. Or my cat has been using it behind my back.

Works as described

I love these absorbent scrunchies. After a shower it can easily be put in hair ponytail, enables the drying process.Use the scrunchie twisted around your wet hair gor sort of an overnight curler set.and the scrunchie will set some shape to hair.These are great to wear to pull your hair up before you do your make up or after you do your make up to wash your face. If you have long hair, they’re great to make messy buns.

These work really well as hair ties, but i’m not sure they’re super great at absorbing water. I have pretty thick and long hair and I slept in one overnight after showering, my hair only felt a little drier than it would’ve if i’d slept in a normal hair tie. Admittedly, my hair takes a really long time to dry, but I had kinda hoped this would be a miracle solution.
