Excellent
I bought these clippers to dag my lambs did all 50 plus 30 ewes on one battery charge was super pleased. My shearer let me down so I decided to buy some shearing combs & do it myself. Super pleased again fully clipped 30 sheep. It's quite noisy so I'd recommend ear plugs if you have sensitive ears. The battery lasts well although it takes a good few hours to recharge so always make sure both are charged before you start. So handy to take out to the field also so can save you a trip bringing stick back to the yard for a simple day. Would highly recommend

Spot on!
Dont do reviews, but absolutely had to!Have only used for a day to crutch my triplets pre lambing and so far my only regret is not buying them years ago. Have done 50 ewes on 1 battery including some very dirty Cotswolds, ifyou know you know. The supplied combs and cutters have stayed sharp. They're powerful and well balanced, you'd have thought they were a far more expensive product. Bought these in a hurry as an old set of competitors clippers wouldn't work when needed the next day, and these turned up as promised. We'll see how they last, but very impressed.

Overheats after one season of shearing.
We bought this product in June 2020. I have a very small herd of sheep to shear. The first season I used these shears they worked ok. They weren't able to get a tight shear but I was able to get the bulk of the wool cut. This year, 2021, I have even fewer sheep and the same length of wool. When I started shearing 2 weeks ago, I was able to get 2 sheep done before I was unable to hold the shears anymore, the shears started to burn my hand as I worked. So I was only able to cut 2 on the first day and then did 2 the second day thinking maybe it was because it was a warm day and the shears were reacting to the heat outside along with the cutting. So then I did only 1 sheep the following day to see if the problem would resolve itself. It still overheated but I managed to get the sheep mostly done. A few days later I tried another sheep and within half an hour or less, I couldn't even hold the shears any longer. I was only able to get 50% done on this final sheep. The shears were a struggle with every stroke and the temperature of the shear became too hot. So today (one week later) I tried to shear the final 50 % of the final ewe and it over-heated this time within only 3 minutes of starting. It had trouble cutting and had barely any power. It has basically died on us after less than two full seasons of shearing a very small flock. If you have more then one sheep i would not recommend this product. It is far too much money to spend on something you can only use for less than two full seasons and which cannot finish the job. Now we have to call someone in to help with the one final sheep who is still only 50% sheared.

Great shears, very easy to use
We were first time shearers, excellent job on our small flock of Jacobs, very easy to use, spare battery great, need to keep well oiled as you go, but too hard goid practice with all shears. Really impressed, recommended, great bit of kit.
