I have been ordering these for a few years now. They are folded, but I have never had a single one with a hole in them. I check them by holding them up to a bright light and looking through the bag for any holes. The O2 absorbers arrive packaged together. This does not mean you have to use all of them at one time. You can simply put them in an air-tight container like a canning jar and use as needed. Theybags fill the whole bucket. I pick the mylar bag up and down inside the bucket a few times to help things settle and fill out. Then I grip the bucket and pick it up and down tapping the floor to settle the contents further. This makes more room to add things in the bucket and fills the spaces for less oxygen when sealed. This also helps fill the bag out to the sides of the bucket. There is some excess at the top, but that makes it easy to fold over and seal while in the bucket. I am thankful for that excess because I cut off what I do not need and make smaller bags to hold things. That makes my investment in these bags worth more. I have used these for a good long while now and just came back to purchase another 20 bags. I have nothing bad to say about my experiences with them to date.

Package arrived damaged and torn... Multiple bags were damaged upon arrival. It could of at least came in a box for this high $50 price... It did the job though.

We use the 5 gallon Mylar bags to store items that we want to keep moisture and oxygen out. These bags are oversized so that when you want to use them in a 5 gallon bucket, you will have plenty of the bag left to properly heat seal the bag closed. This is useful when you open the bag by cutting just below the heat seal to be able to take out what you need and re-seal the bag.

Ordered 50 of these and they work great! Sealed with a hair straightener and they seal best when iron is between 350-415 degrees and only takes a 2-3 seconds for a good seal. Had issues when we thought we were sealing it really well but we were overdoing it. Less is more when sealing these. Only had 4 not seal and those were the ones we overheated and caused wrinkling to. Highly recommend this to anyone, great value with the bags as well.

10 out of 20 bags had slice marks and pin holes. And who knows how many failed bags I have since I never thought to check them for holes. I will only buy PackFreshUSA! Never buy anything that's not USA made again if I can help it. Chow!
