Moonster Leather Pencil Case Pouch 8" x 4" - Leather Pen Case with Zipper

It’s very well put together. The kind of leather pouches and satchels you see people with, that are broken in and look like they’re 100 years old. The kind you wish you could get looking like that right out of the store. This is as close as it’s gonna get to a well loved bag. They’re really thick leather and stitched together really well. The leather has been somewhat broken in maybe mechanically, but it looks like you’ve had it more than a day, but it’s still a little rigid. Doesn’t take much to soften it up. I carry all my day-to-day stuff in there. Alot of times my wallet, keys, gum, change, and it’s the perfect size to be able to carry most mail envelopes. On occasions I have to distribute a lot of things such as checks and other mail pieces, and they fit in there nicely and keep them together and safe.So if you’re looking for that rugged, heavy duty, 150 year-old chaps indestructible leather, this would be the bag I would suggest. They’ve got a lot of different options, but this was the perfect size to suit my needs not too big and not too small, and I can carry it without being made fun of because it’s definitely guys accessory.

I think this is the fourth of these I've purchased -- that should say how much I like them. They are a high quality product at a reasonable price. That's how to stay in business! I uses these in my vehicles to store my insurance and registration. They are a bit tight for that, but they work -- paper can be folded. I'd love them more if they were an extra 1/2" or so wider.

By far this is one of the best quality leather goods I’ve ever purchased. At this price I wasn’t sure the quality would be there because it was so cheap for real leather. But, WOW I was so surprised by this beautiful piece. I needed something smaller to put inside my purse with just the necessities when I went shopping and this is perfect for that. I can see using this for many different things. The leather grains are absolutely beautiful. The thickness unlike other leather goods it’s perfect. Craftsmanship is 100% perfect. The hardware top notch quality. The interior perfect. The color is beautiful. Keep in mind with new genuine leather there should be a low odor from being polished and crafted when unwrapped which I expected. Once unwrapped it literally took 10 minutes to go away. That was the first sign that I knew I was getting real leather. You cannot go wrong purchasing this item. I will definitely buy more items from this company. 100% A+

I rarely write reviews, most of the time when I buy a product I go right to the reviews and if I buy the item and my consensus is the same as others I don’t write a review because of redundancies.I don’t know what a few reviewers received, but this is real leather, no question. The chemical smell is the tanning and when it is fresh it is stronger but fades over time just like a couch or saddle, but will always have that smell, working around horses I am used to the smell and it doesn’t bother me.Leather is thick and sturdy, I don’t know why people would want a pencil case for their expensive art pencils to be supple and bendy, I would want it stiff for protection. The zippers seem sturdy as well, I’ve only had it for a few weeks, but it seems like it will last. It is not perfectly square on the corners, I don’t care about that, I like things on the more rustic side that’s why this appealed to me in the first place.Now the reason I decided to write a review. I bought this for my simple on the cheap Dave Ramsey budget wallet. And when I say cheap I mean money wise not quality, the value for this being real leather at the price I paid of $12.95 is amazing, if I had a reason to buy more I would. I didn’t want a wallet with a whole bunch of dividers I wanted one for money that I could use tiny binder clips to separate my budget categories, put a shopping list, coupons, pen, etc. I use the front zip pocket for my debit and other cards but you could use it for change also. Other wallets made for the system were too expensive and too complicated for me personally. I also wanted it to be plain and sturdy and the fact that this is real leather just sweetens the deal for me.The company also included a little snap leather cord keeper for headphones that I have been using as much as the pouch, what a nice little bonus!

I received this product in a timely fashion, it was packaged nicely and free from any defects. My one wish is that the inside would not have been lined with fabric. I couldn't tell by any of the pictures shown, or any description given, what the inside of the pouch looked like and had I known it was lined with fabric, I would not have purchased it, simply because I bought it to replace one that wore out far too quickly due to the fabric lining. The only thing separating the outside zipper pocket and the larger, main portion of the pouch is a fabric liner. I would have been much happier had there been leather between the two compartments, because I can definitely see (from experience with other products) pencil lead poking right thru, or normal, daily usage causing the fabric to fail far earlier than the leather, itself. Having said that, the leather is of nice quality and the leather portion of the pouch appears to be very sturdy and would last a lifetime, I'm certain, without the fabric lining. Only time will tell.If you are looking for a quality leather product, and don't mind a fabric lining, you will enjoy this product.
