Iron Maiden Anthology (Guitar Recorded Versions) Paperback – July 1, 2006

I love the these music books

The arrangements here are fun and slick and I highly endorse this book. If you're a Maiden fan, and you can play some power chords, you need this book. With practice you could be Dave Murray in a year or two!

I needed an accurate transcription for the "Trooper" and "Wasted Years" because the band I am in plays these songs regularily. I put both song transcriptions up against the recording at half speed and it matches perfectly as far as I can tell. The fingerings, chord inversions, solos etc...are all good. This book saved me many hours of tabbing out solos, etc...Excellent song selection covering most of their more popular albums. Bottom Line: Great book well worth the money.

First of all for this book I would say it has a lot of Iron Maiden's best songs, but it has some unnecessary ones as well. The main reason I like this book so much is the tabs/musical notation is perfect to the actual recorded version. If you like the song list that someone else has already mentioned buy this book.

This collection had a pretty good selection of songs, but they left out some rather obvious classics. For example, they included "Revelations," but did not include "Hallowed Be Thy Name," which is widely regarded as their best song ever. I also would have liked a song from each of the most recent albums, such as "The Wicker Man" and "Paschendale." It was very nice to see "No Prayer for the Dying," an overlooked favorite of mine. Overall, it is an excellent overview. I hope it sells well enough to justify reissuing some of their classic album sets.

Quality trancriptions of some classic Iron Maiden. Doesn't include all the favorites for everyone, which if it did, would be a really big book. Good mix of stuff from the first album up to No Prayer for the Dying.

If your an Iron Maiden fan then this book is a must to have. There is a wide variety of songs in this book. Great book, great price, excellent condition.
