If one does due diligence, wading through all the filter systems will reap good benefit in getting a filter system that is made in the USA. EcoPure and Whirlpool are USA made, whereas at least four others I received and returned (thanks to Amazon's generous policy) are made in China or Mexico, even though one doesn't know where they are made until they arrive at the door. I wouldn't trust a filter where quality control is spotty or worse. Anyway, this ECOP20 replaced a Whirlpool model that no longer has filters available - thanks a load, Whirlpool, for the obsolescence. Whirlpool's current filter system is stackable and on the floor - not very space efficient, so that one was returned, too. I found this ECOPure model, which was similar to the old Whirlpool model (now obsolete) and mountable on the back wall under the sink. Most models now have 3/8-inch inlets and outlets. Ours has a 1/4-inch fresh water feed, so I used two 3/8 to 1/4-inch reducers with two additional 90-degree 3/8-inch elbows to assist in redirecting the inlet and outlet. It looks great, works great, and the water is fresh and pure! btw, I didn't use the included faucet, because we already had a good one from before. I'm not a fan of the included faucet's built-in Li battery monitor mechanism in this package, because it is a bit of nuisance (at least in our case), imho. We are on city water, so mostly needed is eliminating chlorine from the drinking water. This does the job and then some. Another note: We only needed to change filters every three years or so, because the flow was never reduced, and the quality / taste was always excellent. Six month filter change recommendation from the manufacturers is basically a guideline and should be according to each application. I would definitely recommend this ECOPure system and would buy again. Cheers and happy drinking water!

Whirlpool water filtration
A great water purifier, one of the easier ones to install. The filters are easy to replace and last longer than most. A super value that won't break the bank.

Very nice water filter
Very nice water filter. The only trouble I had was when I installed the plastic fitting between the supply line and the cold water port I stripped the treads on the fitting. (easy to do when you are laying on your back in an uncomfortable position and the fitting is kinda cheap) This fitting is for hooking the input line of the filter into the water line. There were optional instructions for using a non-supplied 3/8 tee and making this connection at the valve. I did this and all was good! Great tasting water.

Decent filter at an affordable price.
Had the same system just under a different brand name. After 20 years of use the #2 filter holder cracked and started leaking immediately after a filter change. Ordered this so change out would be quick and easy as it was already setup. The only complaints I have is the reminder lite circuit in the dispenser spout started failing in the first year and would come on long before time, so I just started making labels and putting them on the spout instead, the other is the mounting setup for the spout, it uses toggle bolts to mount it and takes some doing to get them to hold without slipping and coming loose, a standard threaded valve stem with large retaining nut would be better. This works well despite these minor problems and I still recommend it.

Replacement product
While I did not have to reinstall the complete system, the new replacement head fit the prior model's (purchased 11 yrs ago!) design perfectly. Hoses came out and returned into new head as anticipated. We have been happy with this dual system for many years. A relatively cheap but durable and effective filter system for an under-the-sink application. We use it for drinking only. For anyone wondering, our old head started to leak at the first stage filter. Do not know the cause. Perhaps a wear factor in the plastic. ( Both cartridges leaked in this section, so it wasn't just the o-rings.) If this new model is anything like the old, we'll be happy with 10 yrs plus of usage! And yes, the water taste is significantly better than no filtration at all.

Slow Flow!
Water flow was tiny. The flow from the Whirlpool was double.Reached out to mfg twice with no response.Junked it and trying another mfg.
