Received the painting today,and even before I would start it ,I was supprized by the soft paper type so called board, flimsy to say the least. next I saw immediately that one of the paints was missing ,causing me to wander if this painting was sold and returned by the customer .I reading other reviews it seems that many people are unhappy with this painting as to bad paint and poor replica of picture on the front of the ,should I say box or just package? Very sad ! !

Where to begin? The board is marked with a super small font... impossible to read in some places what paint goes where. Some kits ask you to mix paints and provide a legend sheet that says 1 + 3 = A. All well and good. But here there's no legend. Instead, an area on the board will read something like "28/5" which is where the blend for those 2 paints goes. Again, this is REALLY small print in places. Basically, you just kind of wing it with this one and use most of the markings as a suggestion while you figure out what shade you want to use.

I received this yesterday. Out of three I recently bought (one painted and this one not) this one and #1 (I painted) I would not recommend. There is a lot of paint mixing on this one. The first one I did they gave me colors that should not and were not even on the picture (light purple....for horses!) so no thanks. please see other paint by number I bought. Soooo worth the money (which was not a lot) Ehior paint by numbers, they have it going on. Leave the paint mixing with weird colors to the manufacturer. This will be donated to the goodwill. What a waste.

I am a little disappointed in this. The numbers on the art board are so incredibly small it's almost impossible to read. I use my glasses and also a magnifying glass and I'm still not sure what some of them are. I will probably give it a try and see how it goes. If I get to frustrated I will throw it away. The price was right - but now I know why. It did arrive promptly but the box was barely taped shut. I'm surprised it didn't fall out. I love the picture so I'm hoping it will turn out and I will be able to paint it without going blind.

Horrible project. Paints not marked on paint pots, picture is not marked clearly. I do a lot of paint by number and love it. Will not purchase this company's paint by number again. Had to chuckle as it says to shake paint pot to mix paint. If any of you do paint by number there is no way "shaking" paints works. No matter how beautiful the photo is, don't waste your time unless you are a creative painter.

ordered two painting from the same person. did not like at all. not enough paint when you have to mix. also same numbers on adjoining aresso you end up with the same color blob.

I do a lot of paint by numbers and this is the worst. Numbers hard to read. Kit was missing some paint. I would not recommend this company.

This brand of paint by number is not very good. The paint colors look wrong, so I ended up using some of my own paint left over from other paint kits. With some improvising, this painting ended up looking good. I gave this painting as a Christmas present.

This is the first time I have done a painting by this company, and I have done quite a few which I really enjoy and family have even asked for one or two. However, this one, I had to buy a new paint brush as one provided was useless. I know that I will have to buy more paints as certain colours running out and not even halfway through ,also the paints provided are so thin do not cover the number, so have to wait to dry and then paint over number again. I am going to try to finish this painting, but really not very impressed. I would like to say to people if this is your first attempt at painting by numbers, do not use this company as you will be disappointed.

Numbers and lines show through paint, despite several layers... which then leaves you running out of paint. I had to supplement with my own.... which is fine if you have your own supply...Colours (and blending of colours) does not match the overall image on the package. Results are quite disappointing.Much darker paints are needed to get the right colour as the colours provided leave the overall image far too bright to be convincing. The whole thing is way too simplified and needs much finer detail to look remotely like the image on the cover - the end result is very abstract. I spent a lot of time adding fresh layers to try and darken the image so it didn't look like some 'posterised' picture out of Photoshop.This is the only R & L product I have used but I would recommend other paint-by-numbers manufacturers such as Reeves. I have done a number of theirs and have been impressed so far.

The quality of colours was the worst I worked with so far and the first PBN I did not finish as 5layers were simply not covering the number and lines. Also quite few spots were un-numbered. I would not recommend this product.

Reeves' are much better and this is not a good one from their competitor.

Very disappointed , very poor detail with regard to paint reference numbers print too small to read even with magnifying glass, blurred and unreadable. Paint well past sell by date in some case paint was solid. Would not recommend this particular item.
