Great shocks they don’t solve tundra bed bounce
When I heard that these were original equipment on some second generation tundras, I bought them. A great chance to avoid the stealership, and get original equipment quality. I bought them because I had just purchased this pick up used, and noticed that the ride was kind of jiggly. I didn’t think much of it, and decided to replace the rear shocks, because the ones on it were Monroe, which are not the greatest. It was after I had replaced the shocks, which is an enjoyable, and reasonably easy job, that I read about tundra bed bounce. It’s a thing. It’s not about your suspension, it’s about your frame. I’ll leave the reading to you, but new shocks didn’t do a whole lot for it.That said, these are very high-quality, and provide a nice ride that is not harsh. Each one comes with a full complement of bushings and fasteners. Be careful to follow the orientation of those bushings carefully! I had to remove one of mine and flip them. I’m still glad I bought them.

Too stiff of a ride
Caused my 2008 Tundra to vibrate when stepping on the brake pedal after exiting off the highway or when going downhill.. I removed these shocks and re-installed the original Toyota OEM shocks and now the truck is back to normal.
