Not always as pictured...
It's fine for a sports fan, just know that what's pictured isn't exactly what you'll receive. What was received was fine, just didn't expect it to be different than what's in the picture. They should make that clear in the description.

Apparently they're lumping all the different teams into one, but since I have experience only with the Pittsburgh Penguins helmet, please note that is the one I purchased. The thing is really, really cool. I had intended to keep it in my office on my desk, but the size is just perfect for a little shelf-type area on the dash of my truck, so that's where it went. While this is a miniature and cannot be used for playing hockey -- not even for kids -- the back is still constructed as though you could put it on, with elastic, etc. The material is not mask-quality tough ... just plastic ... but it looks great and is plenty tough enough to sit on a desk and be handled every so often. There are two different masks pictured on the Penguins listing. I wanted and received the black and gold one (not the one with the blue accents). My one criticism of this item is the actual paint finish is quite a bit more subdued than the photo. The golds aren't as bright on the actual product, but it doesn't take away enough from my enjoyment of it for me to take off any stars.
