Traxxas 7079 1/16 Differential Ring and Pinion Gear

Worked out great. Unfortunately with the sock plastic housing, the ring and pinion has room to flex. Which leads to blown gears with a brushless power system.Just make sure that you buy diff lube! You can not run these dry! You will need to refill the diff after moving everything over. I got 50k weight oil for the rear. It's very thick and makes it act more like a posi. You should also use some all purpose grease on the outside of the ring gear.

If your diff housing isn't destroyed, this should work great. Just use shims when installing, or it may strip out.

Traxxas parts are the best when it comes to your traxxas car. Fit perfectly and worked even better. Now if only I could stop stripping them...

I needed the pinion Gear to use with the new rear differential that was installed on the 1/16 Summit. I wished Traxxas would sell individual components for the differentials so you could buy what was needed for repairs.

This worked, although Traxxas really needs to come up with a better solution or more reliable Differential for the 1/16 E revo. I've burned through two of these in the last 2 weeks, and I'm not even running that hard. :/ I'm going to try a Center Differential and hope that solves the problem.

Direct replacement for the traxxas part in the mini erevo, slash and... that other car that's a mini version of something bigger whos name I can't remember. Works great!
