Solid Red Flannel Fabric by The Yard

Everything about this fabric was perfect: soft, good weight, color. I purchased this to be the backing for a Christmas throw. Two yards was the exact length I needed. Unfortunately, it was cut 1 1/2” shorter than two yards so it did not fit accurately....disappointed about that.

This flannel is almost felt like. Doesn’t fray easily. Used it for this cute sculpt Santa Clause. Ad a few embellishments and he emerges perfect for display!

This is Good Quality material, and it arrived quickly. I could not be more pleased!

When I received this, I thought it was some of the softest flannel I've ever purchased, and really, it is. I was just a touch disappointed that it pilled pretty badly. I washed my rag quilt very carefully and used a tumble dry/low setting. But a fabric shaver came to the rescue. I think this is just what one has to expect with soft flannel---some pilling after laundering. It is a beautiful shade of red and was a great addition to the Valentine quilt I made. I have to take off that 1 star, because some of the other flannel I used on the same throw hardly pilled at all.
