Complete Greatest Hits - Unplugged 1994 - Eagles Greatest Hits 2 CD Album Bundling

I love the cover case (it wasn't the "paper" and the price I got it at was in my budget and it came in early, no damage and was packed well. Well quality sound.

I was a little apprehensive purchasing this disc because I'm very fussy about sound quality. But as soon as I pressed play and started listening my fears were completely unfounded. If you are a fan of the Eagles you will not be disappointed, the selection of songs is what really makes the album let alone the quality of the musical performance. What I liked most about it was not all the tracks were unplugged and the change in sound and tempo throughout the album makes it a worthwhile listen. The comparisons from Hell Freezes Over is the new songs that were featured as studio versions on that album are recorded live on this one and not forgetting we get to enjoy this show in its entirety.Listening to it also made me very sad I kept thinking about the passing of Glenn Frey God rest his soul what was will never be again, so enjoy the music and be part of the historical event that took place in 1994 on that second night.

I read a lot of the other reviews which were anything but glowing. I admit I had second thoughts about purchasing this CD set, but I love unplugged concerts and am a huge fan of the Eagles, so I went for it. Then when the first song played I thought for sure this was a mistake. Of course, it was a live concert, so you’d expect audience excitement, applause, etc. But the very first song, Peaceful Easy Feeling, had a couple women repeatedly screaming throughout the song which made for anything but a “peaceful easy feeling”! But then the shrieking screamers were either kicked out or told to chill, because the rest of the sets were quite nice. However, I will say that with a full blown orchestra in the background, I don’t really consider this an unplugged concert. But who’s paying any attention to that anyway?

I received this CD from Great Britain and I live in Kentucky. It arrived in perfect condition and played well. Will order more from there. The CD case was not broken. Great job of packig and shipping.

I have every Eagles album that has been released, most more than one copy. I listen to them for the quality of the musical composition and artistry and amazing abilities of the band that is background for the songs. The group is truly gifted. This album is almost as good as the Hell Freezes Over alblums and DVD because the breaks between the songs on this collection kind of slow the flow. There is something that sets this release apart though, maybe its the clarity of the recordings or the production quality and mix. Or maybe the guys were really feeling it and it just worked out that way, but the music blew me away. Very well done, as only these guys can do. I recommend this set for everyone's collection.

Anything new from the Eagles of the Don Felder era is always a good thing!That said, I found the recording and editing disappointing. The volume level was annoyingly erratic. I had to adjust the volume often while listening, either not being able to hear parts or being blasted. I would guess better editing could've cured most of this, along with too much dead time between songs. And they still had the annoying chick in the crowd wailing like fingernails on a blackboard, as they did on the original Hell Freezes Over CD.....which was my only complaint about that one.Still, well worth the price for an Eagles fan.
