Flower Rocket As Seen On TV Butterfly/Hummingbird

So far so good. I probably over packed my planters, but these have been so much fun to watch grow. I literally put in some new dirt sprinkled the seeds on top, barely blended them just under the top layer of dirt, watered them generously and boom within one day they were already starting to grow. I can’t wait to see what kind of flowers I get in a few weeks.

The product didnt grow i followed instructions to the letter read it six times even.. Gave it miricle grow. I bought roses and plants on clearence at the home depot and lowes and they are flourishing so i know its not me. Really really want my money back because this product after i purchased it i found at big lots for 1.00. And i paid 7.00 for something that foesnt grow??? Im a gardner and i will make sure that anyone looking on line for flowers to beware..very very disapointed and will be very careful to order anything on amazon again. Thanks sherry J

I have a perfect spot and pot for these beauty’s. The pot did not have wholes for drainage. Here in Texas we have had a great deal of rain. The seeds started to come out, but was flooded out. Drilled wholes for drainage and I just replanted yesterday.

LOL. Don’t get tricked! I thought I would get a Headstart on my butterfly garden since I couldn’t find these in stores yet. LOL. I should’ve waited and saved my money. This box MAY fill a small flower it at best !

The flowers did not come up. I planted the The end of April and now it is July and still no flowers.

I am not a beginner nor an expert gardener. I ignored the terrible directions on the package. I had to try many times to get flowers. I have tried 5 different kinds of Flower Rocket products and this Butterfly/hummingbird was the easiest to grow.Here is how I did it.1. Unroll the green strip and cut it into 2 to 3 inch rectangles.2. Soak the rectangles in water for at least 2 hours.3. Peel the white paper off the rectangles.4. Make sure the outdoor/indoor temperature is over 65 degrees. Plant the rectangles at least 4 inches apart. Cover with 1/4 inch of soil. (See pics)5. Water every day or every other day. (The soil has to be wet but not too wet. It could grow mold.)6. Prune when they are about 2 to 3 inches tall.7. When the plants are over 3 inches tall, if it’s indoor, move it outside (should be over 70 degrees.)8. Fertilize every 2 weeks (I used all purpose fertilizer.)9. Prune some more when plants get crowded. Repot if they get too big.10. Enjoy the cute wild flowers (The first flower bloomed in 2 months. They keep blooming for a while.)My attribute: The package didn’t have 500 seeds. It was still a good deal. I bought it at a dollar store but I would pay more. The germination rate was high and it’s quite easy. I am a lazy gardener so pruning was a little bit time consuming but it was worth it. About half of the listed flowers grew. Easy, tough plants bloomed well and they kept blooming after 4 months. Although I live in NYC, it attracted pretty birds and butterflies as the package said. Will I buy this again? Yes.

Not a single plant grew out of it. It is a waste of money.
