Q: How does this tent go up? i take it it isn't pop up? or inflatable?

This type of Tent is very easy to put up, insert all the tent poles making 4 large D shapes with the tent laying on the floor (the four D should be stacked front on top, bedroom end on the bottom), next anchor the main bedroom end guide rope into the ground where you want it. Now locate the main front guide rope and pull hard and walk away from the 4 D's which should now be rising up. When the tent has fully expanded peg the front guide rope in place, the tent should now look nearly semi erect, now go inside and insert the two side beams, you will find that you will need to take the slack up on the front guide rope, you then just need to peg down the remaining guide ropes. This may sound complicated, but once done its easy, we lent ours to a niece and her friend in a wheel chair and they managed to put the tent up quickly for the first time, to the amazement of everyone on the campsite.

Q: How waterproof is it .

I am knocking a kitchen and dining room into one so it has been our kitchen for the last 8 weeks. We have had some real crap weather, raining cats and dogs and hasn't let a drop in. Only one thing I would say is if you are running a power cable into the tent use the little zip opening. I ran the cable through a corner of the door and the rain ran along the cable and in, but nothing gets through the cable opening as it is shielded. 10 put of ten for waterproofing!!

Yes it does have a full net door that zips right around to seperate the sleeping area.
