Worst product you can buy. Poor quality. You can't even return the item despite it being mentioned as returnable. Return request is cancelled automatically from Amazon side without anyone showing up or calling.

The product was neatly packed but not satisfied with and not a value product for the money. The slits are uneven. Wood polish or paint not applied. Finishing touches to look better was not given. Holes not carved neatly.Overall not worth the money!!

For the price of Rs 395 for the 5 slot knife block, the product is reasonable and VFM for my knives. I'm able to store 5 expensive knives, namely 165 mm Santoku, two 180 mm Gyuto, 150mm petty knife and a Chinese cleaver safely.Maintenance : I have placed it on the dining table where I do my daily vegetable cutting. There is a risk of contamination or worm infestation if we keep the knife block on the kitchen counter. The greasy smoke, dampness and moisture creates a conducive environment for worms to grow in the wood.Also apply food grade mineral oil so that the wood is not contaminated from inside and to avoid worm infestation. Oiling it ensures a better look.Also the knife must be washed with mild detergent and dried before placing it in the knife block. This ensures durability of your knives and knife block along with and food safety.
