This case fits perfectly and is very durable.

If you wear a heavy belt, which you are likely to do while hiking, camping, or working, you may have a difficult time getting this holster onto your belt. The belt loop can accommodate small and medium belts of at most 1 7/8” width. However, if it fits your belt, this is very well made and perfectly contoured to precisely fit your standard Victorinox knife..

This so far is a very sturdy case. It fits my Swiss Handyman perfectly .The case has rivits fastening the belt loop which is the way they should all be made . On the sides are elastic material which helps grip the knife to hold it. This are the things I like . The things I’m not sure about is the openings on the bottom of the sides of the stretch fabric . The knife can’t slide out but they can allow dirt in. I’m not sure if the elastic fabric with hold up of time but as of now it is very sturdy. The only other thing I question is the use of Velcro to close the case. Most Velcro will over extended use become worn and not work eventually . Not saying this won’t hold up but I would prefer a snap . Overall this is a very durable and light weight case . I had a leather case that had the belt loop sew on and it lasted 2 weeks literally . I bought this as a replacement .

This is not a well fitting sheath/pouch for a 1,2,3, layer SAK by themselves. I'm a collector and I love these pouches. They are very sturdy and good looking. I have never put one on a belt and only has one mounting position. The model number on the inside of the sheath is 4.0543.3. It will fit an Explorer (4layer) on up to the Swiss Champ (7 layer) and every 91mm SAK in between. They are not made in Switzerland but China. A 91mm 1,2, or 3 layer will fit, but not snug and is very loose in pouch. The pouch has an elastic loop for a Solo Mag Light or something similar on the inside of the pouch. However it would not fit it a 4,5,6, or 7 layer SAK knife at the same time. It will accept a 1,2,3, layer 91mm layer SAK with the Solo Mag Lite. If your a fan of a Velcro fastened pouch than this one is for you. If you wear out the Velcro you could sew in a stronger hook side but not fuzzy side without compromising its looks. They work great for me.
