Best performance for your dollar.
I have 3 of the 100 watt panels in service for about a year. 1 is flat mounted on a truck, the other two are on a rack wired in parallel. They are fantastic. The flat panel will pull down 70 watts during the late spring, summer, and early fall. There's nothing more severe than mounting a panel to a motor vehicle and this unit has proven it is durable. The two mounted on a rack are setup at 45 degrees and will routinely pull down 195-200 watts (95 to 100 watts each!) per my Victron MPPT controller. It's April here in Oregon, and on a sunny day I'm averaging 1.2 kilowatts with these two panels. You can't ask for better performance. They've held up to PNW weather without issue. I'll be buying a pair of 200 watt panels for my trailer soon. While the rest of Renogy's product line is pretty mediocre, their solar panels are fantastic. Buy with confidence.

What can I say, it’s Renogy, of course it’s great
I buy one or two of these every so often when they go on sale. They put out reliable power, look great and are pretty light despite being built like a tank. As you can tell I’m a renogy fan, but they made me this way by offering great products like this. If you can catch a good deal you won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic, pumps even in the shade.
This is a great quality solar panel. I have had a few other small trickle panels and a cheap flexible plastic one (total waste of money) and I am really impressed with the power and quality of this panel. It is really too strong for a trickle panel, but i find I can put it in the shade and it works fine with less power and it will totally charge up a "dead" car battery in no time (paired with a cheap charge controller, made mobile safe by hot glue gunning wiring points). I bought a panel this strong because I got a great sale price on it. Very worth it. Small enough to be portable and easily moveable and will fit on my dash even and large enough to really kick ass, charge up a lead acid battery and all my 5 volt usb lights and devices. Great for camping. My only problem with this panel on the onset was that it came with Renology MC4 connectors attached and I had trouble deciding whether to buy more of those or rip off the MC4 connector and just convert to 12 volt automotive water proof connector I already had on hand. For my uses, I was better off without the MC4 (a waterproof rating not size rating) I decided, and I finally pried them off and converted to the 12 volt auto connector, but the psychological block really impacted my project.

Excellent for off grid power.
Easy to install with optional brackets. They will run at 80% efficiency in full sun, the best I have seen out of several brands of PV panels. Work great for off grid electrical systems.

Great panels in appearance; shipping damaged the boxes and bent two of four frames; I'd buy again.
The panels looked well built and sturdy. Shipping, in two boxes, had damaged the frames of one panel in each of two boxes. No replacement option was offered, so I returned both boxes. I believe I will buy these in individual purchases, so each can be replaced separately.

Worth paying the price for Quality
It's been 4 months after my installation of two additional 200 watt solar panels giving me a total of 600 watts. Connecting the solar array of three panels in series was easy. Quality exceeded my expectations.I am pulling up to 59 volts and up to 9 amps going to my solar charger controller, almost 30 amps charging my lithium batteries! I am now getting up to 480 watts out of possible 600 watts and that's with panels laying flat on the motorhome roof. I can't wait to see close to 600 watts when I tilt the panels.

Best price at $62 I have seen Nov 27th, 2024
Best price at $62 I have seen Nov 27th, 2024. I have seen some reviews where others have bought this same panel model at $50 but this is the best price I have bought at. They have worked great for me. I have never used any other solar panel so I can't compare. The best power out I have seen is 85 Watts per solar panel but I believe I could get just past 90 Watts if I change my arrangement to the best 100% best facing area but where I have them just works out for me. I am also using a Renogy MPPT charge controller with a few. I also have a cheaper brand MPPT charge controller and can see huge difference in power output with the same panels. I don't have enough experience to say Renogy MPPT charge controllers are the best, but I can say not all MPPT charge controllers are the same.I am still picking up alot with solar and believe just like anything else, one person can have a great experience while another has a bad experience with the same item. Check reviews and check your item as soon as you can to return if it doesn't work right. Go with what works for you. Where I live, power is cheap but I like having a medium sized emergency system.
