The necklace came exactly as it did in the picture! It was a beautiful vibrant blue butterfly that I had gotten for my mother and she loved it! It was so pretty I thought of getting one for myself! The chain came long enough that she could wear it and even adjusted very high up almost as if a choker, very adorable!

I actually bought this as a memorial piece. A student of mine suddenly passed away and she would always remark that one of my tattoos (a cicada) looked like a butterfly that needed sparkles.This necklace has the sparkles with the opalite inlay. For me, the necklace is a fantastic memorial to my student, and it's a simple but tasteful necklace as a whole.
