My uncle, who lives in Bangladesh told me that these seeds will fail to germinate if you plant them directly in the soil. That is because they evolved a symbiotic relationship with birds, where when the birds eats the fruit of the tree and process the seeds in it's digestive system and poops it out in a surface where there is enough nutrient, then the plant will germinate. It happens in nature easily, it grows pretty much in any surface with little bit of dirt. But the key thing is, the bird has to eat the fruit and poop out the seed. So. It will never work, if you buy it from here. Your chances are better if you buy a live plant, even if you get one small plant, which is overly priced. You can take care of it and let it grow, and when its big enough, maybe try to make some cuttings. Thats my advise.
