Optimus 50043 Curve Rechargeable Triple Wet/dry Men's Shaver, Black/silver

I have three of these shavers. I have been very pleased with the performance. I only have one complaint. I have threedull shavers which still run well but no one will sell me new blades and foils. Sure it's a cheap shaver, but twenty bucks for blades would be preferable to throwing away a good shaver.

This doesn't really cut.. it seems to just rip the hair up and into the only real blade on this (which doesn't even move and is mounted in between the 2 "blades" that are really just things that vibrate and pull your hair into the casing. I would so get my money back on this if I knew how. But I had amazon credit and used that to get it.The motor isn't strong enough to even cut your hair without bottoming out when you touch your face with it.I could go on but I am starting to get pissed over how crappy this product is and how I won't be able to get my money back.THIS Product Sucks... Do Not Buy!!!

The razor was a present fo my son who has reached that stage in maturation. I like the clean lines of the shaver and my son tells me it is far better than mine, that he has used until his arrived. I agree with him, mine is a Remington shaver is several years old an on its third set of cutters and still does not cut as well whilst costing three times as much!

it seems to be sharp, has sufficient cutting ability and charges very well and holds charge for good length of time

This shaver arrived with sticky, gummy stuff all over the black hand grip areas on the sides. It seemed that the rubbery material of the grips was deteriorated and turning to goop. I never even turned it on. It went right back into the box for return to Amazon.

Shaves clean and smooth, but requires frequent cleaning if growth is a few days old. For the price it is well worth it.

This is the 2nd Optimus I have bought. Wore out the last one over 2-3 years. Had bought more expensive ones in the past for a lot more money. I find the shave with this as good as any for less money. And with the expensive ones, I was always wrecking the foil head and having to buy a new one = more $$. At the price of this one, you can buy a new one every so many years and still be money ahead.

The motor sounds feeble even when using AC Power.It does a poor job cutting one day's growth. Witha two day growth, it bogs down with the slightestpressure. I have never used it on battery power -Would not recommend its purchase. I bought itfrom a source other than Amazon - It was markeddown from over $ 100 ( really ) and shipping was free.
