This spring we suffered a huge loss of bass and bream. After testing the water, feeding them, everything we knew to do, we realized the oxygen was likely the problem. After using this agitator for a few days, no problems! It is literally a lifesaver! It also makes a beautiful fountain to look at and a peaceful sound to go with the frogs & birds nearby. We’ve had it for a month, so far so good. Would highly recommend, as long as it doesn’t break anytime soon.

My pond had been nearly taken over with duckweed. Although I was able to control the growth somewhat with aquatic herbicides, it would never clear for long and it continued to cause problems with the killed vegetation. The day I ordered the aerator, the pond was completely covered with sludge/dead vegetation. It was 90+ degrees daily and I did not think my fish would survive. I placed this aerator in the center and over the deepest part of my 1/4 acre pond and it immediately began to clear. The pond is completely cleared now except for some vegetation on the perimeter, but that is easily treated with the aquatic herbicide. I can say that the company received my order on one day and I received the package less than 24 hours later. Can't ask for better service than that! The aerator is well built and should last for years. The float supports the unit well at the pond's surface and allows for changes in pond depth. I'm hoping to be able to start using it on a timer eventually, but for now it has been running 24/7 with no problems. I highly recommend this product.

The media could not be loaded. Set up was a breeze! After doing so research I chose this floating airration pump, because I didn't want to hear the pump that sit on land and didn't want the neighbors to have to listen to it too . The reviews were great. It will take a little while to get used to the water sound.

Had it running for 2 months straight. 1 5 acre lake. Fish are healthy and water is clearer.

Have two of these running in a small lake on the ranch, one has been running 24/7 for three years without a hitch. If you anchor the power cord at the power source you can use only one other anchor on opposite side and it works fine. Using the right size anchor will hold it in place and still allow you to pull it in if you want to clean it. Best to leave it run continuously as if on a timer turtles etc. will sit on the float to sun themselves when it is off and occasionally enter the center by the propeller. When the unit comes on it will break the propeller and likely the turtle as well.UPDATE: Now 5 years on the original unit and still going 24/7

All I have is praise for the aerator currently. It has been in my pond for approx 48 hrs and has the pond almost cleared of top algae. I only wish that I had ordered the aerator w/100' cord. My pond is approx 1/2 acre and seems to be sufficient for the task. This model will work up to 1 acre per mfg. And, it is a very high quality machine. I would suggest to anyone to splurg and get a quality made product like the Kasco Marine 2400...or a model for your need.
